GGG is ZERO help so let's get serious on why some players have major lags with Synthesis

Do you have more than 8 GB memory? If you do have 16 GB of ram and are running on Windows 10 please do me a favor and temporarily disable your Virtual Memory function for all drive letters, then run PoE, and see what is used at the start and after running zones/maps to see if with VM off does Intervention still cause a freeze. There could be many other reasons Incursion is freezing up but we have to start somewhere and how much total memory is used up is easy to see in the task manager.

During my zone 10 testing on Sunday I didn't get any Incursions. I will frequently open the task manager to check on my Win7 total memory in use and if one does pop up I will pull up the task manager immediately to see how much memory that encounter requires (I'll probably die but it'll be worth it for the information).

wtf is this shit talking about other people pc's ? Why do i have to buy a 3k$ pc just to satisfy my other 2k invested into the game ? for what ? Playing a free game for 2 weeks and testing their shit that never gets better,only worse ? I'm sick of the game just because of you, these people. Even those dudes with the high end pc's said the game IS SHIT : game freezed meanwhile dc'ed / over 6 sec logout dc timer / etc. If GGG / Chris wilson & Tencent tell me i can't play this game cause i have a 5 years pc /laptop, then it's same like Blizzard said : "Do you guys not have phones?" SAME SHIT. This is the only game i can't play. Any other game on the market works on decent fps on ultra settings. That means something. The problem ain't my pc.
This game sucks and won't be repaired at all..as Chris mentioned, it won't change the engine only try to get better modules each league. Thank you GGG,meanwhile enjoy my money invested into this game cause i won't give u any more! BUT DON'T TELL ME ABOUT PC'S !

Thx for sharing anything else? Not everyone has parents to buy them the newest shiny things. Some of us have responsibilities and cant afford new 2k+ computers.

I can hop on diablo 3, WoW, Grim dawn and other Arpgs/MMOs right now and not lag. Its largely an engine/coding problem.

Whining even tho this is a tech issue forum but ok. I never said the game was unplayable but before 3.6+ the game was smooth even without the client file edits. Of course tho GGG feels immersion, and shiny MTX graphics > gameplay.

It's been a while since I used Windows 7 but isn't the memory displayed by task manager committed memory as opposed to actual. You might want to run resmon and check how that memory is broken down.

It is ABSOLUTELY not the problem. If you bothered to look at even a sample of the dxdiags that people posted (at GGG's request, why we don't know) you will see that there is simply no pattern at all. :(

People with old computers, new computers, Win 7, 8, 10 even Linux, people with 4 to 32 gb ram, people with old creaky Nvidia, people with shiny expensive new Nvidia, people with old Radoen, shiny new Radeon.

We also know from samples that this is happening on HDD and SDD.

I can't see any pattern at all. I myself tried it on 3 different computers, with way different specs (one a potato, one middle of the road and a new, $3000 USD PC).

THERE IS NO APPARENT PATTERN.

It has got to be either server side or something with the shaders (possibly), could be a memory leak from Hell as the OP seems to believe but the question with any of the above is why some people and not others?

I have 970GTX with 16GB ram running Windows 10. Freeze like shit when Syndicates drops. While it was not the shiniest hardware now, it is not horrible & I can run another game fine.

If PoE is a visual powerhouse, I can at least digest, but it not.

This is not just a "You have an old PC issue".
