If console versions have auction houses PC version must have it too.

After GGG violated their own trade manifesto and gave the AH to other platforms there is no other way to fix things than to finally add an AH to the fucking PC game without excuses and ASAP.

There is nothing worst than what we have on PC version of POE.

Yeah because wading through pages of vendor trash to find something usable is so much better, it would be like going back to trade thread days but with instant buyouts.

Sure it's fine for uniques or maps but for rares with specific mods it's hellish.

Well, it depend.
Beeing rational i would rather improve a system that perform well for map / uniques trading instead of wasting time on one that mostly fail on these levels since years now -

Why not using both as it has been suggested, and see on the long run wich system benefit the most to players / wich one is the most enjoyable ? Sure it will be a mess at the begin but i could live with that at this point -
Hf :)

Bump.
Why do people assume that if we get an automated system like we have on PS4, that has to mean that also the search options need to be limited??

I don't get that logic at all. Why could putting up the items and searching for them not stay EXACTLY as they are today, the only difference being that you can simply on the homepage or something implemented in the game just click on an item and get it for the price it was listed for, automatically, without the seller needing to be online or interact?

That would be so easy.

- no need to keep an eye on your PC all day
- Price fixing would instantly be dead, because people could simply buy your things if you list them too cheap
- Much bigger selection of items to buy, since the seller can offline
- the list goes on.....

We won't need AH on PC.

Next.

I never realized XBOX version has it, but since now both XBOX and PS4 version have auction house I feel cheated, that the platform that this game started on, and that I supported it on is left without one of the biggest QOL improvements PoE could ever have.

It's just not fair for PC players to struggle against botters, price fixers and RMT mafia to play comfortably.
We all have read trading manifesto and it just doesn't work. Needing to use a bunch of 3rd party services and still struggle proves that it doesn't work.

We must unite and ask for auction house for PC, our voices should be heard, louder than that of botters that will come to attack this post.
Players unite!
I agree.
I fully agree with this thread, and I'm pretty pissed off to see GGG implementing AH on PS4 as well, yet their main income (PC) remains the same shit as it was for years now.

Then again there are people who love to play Path of Hideout so I think they will oppose this idea.

It's not really all that and a bag of chips; you cannot search for specific mods, socket colors or links, etc. Yes, you can trade with almost zero interaction from another player and it is anonymous (which is great) but it leaves a lot to be desired for search functionality and expediency of currency handling. (Your bid can sit in limbo waiting for someone to accept your offer for ages.)

The web trade search features on their website need to be added to an in-game UI that allows for players to trade without grouping in the same fashion as the console edition.

Trading is fundamental and I'm truly hoping for PoE 4.0 they are adding a much better interface to make it the vibrant part of the game it deserves to be.

From the other thread. You can search for specific mods, socket colors or links. What are you talking about??

That was posted by solwitch, it's a fake image.
Well, the existance of an AH at D3 Launch was really really bad for that game, so I'm rather cautious when it comes to wanting one for PoE. But I soo ne reason why not at least give us an automated way to trade currency, maps, trading material and the like.
Seriously, trading for rares is not even that bad. But buying maps or chisels is straight up horror.
