PS4 Crash on Launch

I am unable to launch the game on my main PS4 account. The application crashes to the dashboard with error code CE-34878-0 upon reaching the GGG logo after about 3 seconds.

I reinstalled twice, assuming there was an issue with the download since it had just been made available on the store, but I had the same issue repeatedly.

I then decided to try other accounts that I had on my PS4 and they were able to launch the game and play just fine.

I was able to log into my PS4 as a guest and launch the game, but once on the main menu where it prompted me to press 'Options/'Start', I was met with a login prompt for my account. For this to work, I had to remove my account from my PS4, so that it didn't say 'The account is in use on this Playstation', but once I did, I could login. Unfortunately, shortly after completing the login, the game crashed once again, but this time it was much more severe and took ~5 minutes or so before the system finally shut off completely.

Some additional information that may not be necessary:
-PS4 is a launch day model CUH-1115A
-Stock 500GB HDD
-90GB free

I hope this information gives enough of a lead onto what the issue may be, as I would love to be able to play the game on my primary account with my friends.

After looking through replies in this thread, I think we've definitely narrow it down to a PSN account issue, not a system issue. Also can confirm that being disconnected from the internet will allow you to start the app and then crash after reconnecting.

Exactly same issue all other accounts have no issues

Ok I can confirm this is not a local issue, installed game on seperate ps4 cannot login with that account there either. But can login with many diff accounts.

It's crashing because of Psn. I disconnected from the internet and went on the game and it worked fine but as soon as I reconnected to the internet, the game instantly crashes.

Could it be because I got the ps plus pack for Poe, this is the only one that has it and crashes rest don’t

Ok your actually correct having no internet access makes it so it does not crash

I have done a full complete wipe of ps4, on 2 systems, this is clearly an account issue as on both ps4 only this one account does not work and crashes

Same problem here.

When I disconnected the internet from my console it started up fine but as soon as it connected back to the net it crashed again.

Can confirm that being disconnected from the internet will allow you to start the app and then crash after reconnecting.

Can we please have a response to account specific crashes please
