Hey, i'm interested in the build, but i have only 1 mod bow. How much important is the double dmg/attack speed mod on the shaped bow ? Would I lose lots of damage without it ?

" Solid build and video. My biggest recommendations would be to go for a diamond flask and you really need to divine the bow to 3/5 cold. That mod is where a ton of damage comes from. Mirror Service: view-thread/2466500

So I did some actual testing with Vengeant Cascade and TS, and it's actually quite good. The clear pattern is very similar to using Pierce, slightly better because the secondary projectiles will pierce everything instead of 3-4 things. It has the potential to shotgun bosses in similar to what chain would do in a small handful of edge cases.
The upside is that as valuable as an anointment slot is, it's probably still far less valuable than a gem slot. You can skip pierce and chain for another damage scaling gem. Obviously if you're using barrage or LA instead of TS, this is worthless. |
