Sarlaiel's DW BM Duelist Build. High life/dps/aoe/regen/block. The perfect DW build

I have to just ask if you have 5L or 6L armor?

You can always go blood magic gem and keep ur mana for auras..
Its much better, even if u lost that 1 socket for some gem. You have still clarity with reduced mana so its fine..

If anyone is interested come see my build if u like not going BM :)

Would be helpful to know some of the support gems you use at least if thats possible :p

so, then I'd have to waste a gem spot on blood magic gem? No thanks. Trust me, I'd love to to use hatred if I could. I just do too much atk speed to mana a viable option. If I was using two handers, I'd probably use mana.

so DW only bm? Enough mana nodes + clarity + mana regenaration stats and few % mana leech in ur gear and u dont need bm. Or just use mana potion, its not that hard to do

Any use for having a Dagger as an offhand with sword mainhand? I love the look and feel of it but it cancels out cleave. Whats a good aoe replacement for it?

By "enough" mana nodes, how many do you mean? 3? 6? 10? 15? How many mana nodes are we talking about? My old lvl 76 duelist on closed beta had 9 nodes completely dedicated to helping with my mana. I also used mana regen items and had clarity. Wanna know how often I ran out of mana? ALL the time. BM is one single node that completely rids of that.

Look man. I don't know if you want to help or if you are just trying to get people to check out your "theory" builds, but you need to just let it go and stop hijacking this thread. Blood Magic is mandatory for this build. Maybe in imagination land where you have your "theory" builds, using mana works. It does not for this build. Now can we please not keep going back and forth about this?

Lightning strike or wait until Cyclone is released. Lightning strike works GREAT when paired with Point Blank passive in the skill tree.

With your build I was kind of thinking of a bunch of stuff i could do with the elemental and stuff. Would glacial hammer with hrimsorrow gloves and use cold to fire support gem on it? Also was wondering if you could turn it into a one handed + shield build and use that shield that converts physical to fire dmg by 25% also. Would turn something like cyclone into 1/4 fire 1/4 ice and also cold to fire gems on it and added fire dmg on it and glacial? have any tips on if i wanted to do something like this or stick to duel wield?



This is the slight change i had in mind, i checked and you lose barely anything at all in stats and you gain a lot of resist and defense from shield and only -3% in Atk speed. Seems like it would be fun paired with hrimsorrow and the %fire shield.
