You can't have two triggers on a gem... neither will work. If bane is a trigger, and Vixen is a trigger, none of the other curses should trigger when you cast bane.
Don't know, since it's a new effect... we'll see though.

Pretty sure Shags is correct on this one.

Yes, you couldn't put Bane IN the gloves - that'd be curses supported by 2X trigger gems. But Bane is a curse skill so casting it apparently will then trigger the Vixen gloves. Keep in mind that quote in my previous post isn't some random Joe, that's a GGG designer confirming how it works.

That's a lot of gems not scaling DoT at all...

Looking at their name my money is on troll post.
If not they are in for one helluva rough league start.

Bane's more damage per curse is not a seperate multiplier, they add up to 1 more multiplier, so adding more curses has diminishing returns.
If you want some math, the damage multiplier you get from bane is:
1 + 0.47 * n
n being the number of curses linked to bane
To see the difference in %damage increase between a certain amount of linked curses we can do a simple division:
(1 + 0.47 * n) / (1 + 0.47 * (n-1))
Let me try to be more clear by giving an example, if we have 2 curses linked to bane the damage multiplier is 1.94, adding a 3rd curse would make it 2.41, by dividing them we see that adding a 3rd curses gives us roughly 24% more damage that what we had (2.41/1.94 ~= 1.24)
24% is very little compared to most support gems you can link here, so we won't want to add a 3rd curse if we want to maximize our damage, 1-2 curses would be the optimal damage setup.
1 curse = 1.47 multiplier
2 curses = 1.94 multiplier (roughly 31% more damage than 1 curse)
3 curses = 2.41 multiplier (roughly 24% more damage than 2 curses)
4 curses = 2.88 multiplier (roughly 16% more damage than 3 curses)
And so on...

So 2 or 3 curse setup with possibly more some where else...
Access to More curses is very easy and the Mod that lets you get through hexproof is a must buy or craft early...
Personally I will probably run Projectile Weakness and Despair and probably put Tempchains on an aura... As defensive curses are great for defence.. but they fall off quite hard on Rares and uniques now

As I said 24% is around half of what other support gems can give here, like efficacy, 3 curses is pretty inefficient if you wanna maximize damage, you can always run the 3rd on blasphemy.

That gloves are BiS for Bane. You can have one curse linked to Bane which acts like 47% more damage support gem and 4 other dmg supportts (void manipulation, swift affliction, efficacy, controlled destruction) and 2 curses in gloves. Not only your Bane has a lot of dmg, it also cast all 3 curses at the same time. To bad it has no life at all so its better to go CI.

That`s the way to go. Bane + despair + damage supports and the gloves with enfeeble + temp chains + inc area. The gloves are basicly removing the neeed for blasphemy. So you can go MoM or for example discipline and malevolence.
Damage + safety + ES = win. ;-)
