So Definately running a Bane Build......
all depends on how much you really want to invest in boosting your curse limit, and how bane scales with spell/chaos damage.
I mean, is it worth it to invest in more than 3 curses, over just dropping in an Efficacy support for more spell/DoT damage and duration. |

What about trickster?

With such a strong duration increase per curse, I'm fairly sure that the duration will matter.
As for the curses you might want to use, poacher's mark or warlord's mark for some charges, enfeeble and temp chains for defense and despar for damage boost. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

" Not so sure. Because the obvious second choice for a 2 curse is Temporal Chains which will extend the effect because it makes effects expire slower. So Despair-Temp Chains then supports might be the good balance of damage and utility. |

An interesting note for people considering Bane builds: Vixen's Entrapment states "trigger socketed Curse spells when you cast a Curse." Bane is specifically keyed as a 'Curse'-tagged spell; it will almost certainly trigger when socketed in Vixen's Entrapment, and casting it by hand may in turn trigger Vixen's Entrapment.
VE could dovetail nicely into a Bane build, allowing you to stack extra curses on a target without sacrificing damage supports for Bane (better defense via Enfeeble and such), or allowing you to use a 4L Bane in the gloves triggered by an off curse in a singleton socket somewhere else. Depending on the interaction, anyways. Either way, Entrapment + Bane could lead to fun times with massive curse stacking. 60% resistance or not, bosses won't appreciate being hit with every curse in the game all at once. She/Her

" Aside from Efficacy, (almost a guaranteed needed support if you're running four curses [200% duration at that point]), what support is going to beat out 47% more damage? |

" People seem to be assuming that the more damage bonus from curses will apply as a single modifier rather than sequentially. So Bane linked with 2 curses would apply one 94% more damage multiplier rather than two 47% more damage multipliers. If this is the case a 44% more damage support like efficacy or void manipulation would be more efficient than a second or third curse. I have not however seen any official statement that this is the case, and the wording of the skill itself is ambiguous in my opinion. It will be easy enough to test in game once we can play with the skill, obviously if the curses provide separate 47% buffs that will make penta-curse Bane a much more attractive proposition. If anyone does have an official source talking about how Bane will interact with multiple curses I'd love to see it. |

From names wording it applies the curses first then the dot is then applied with increases based on the number of curses name applied on that application ....
So it will probably be one increase not separate applications I am your Devine one Bow before me

Still more than enough for clearing maps with blight for bosses. Same as you use ED+Contagion for clearing and Blight for single target.

" Found official word on Bane with multiple curses and the damage...the bonuses are addative so linking 5 curses to bane would be trash see full thread here: https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/ay6btq/mark_15_posts_about_leech_rory_hold_my_b/ But...apparently sense Bane is tagged as a 'Curse' skill it WILL cast any curses in the new Vixen's Entrapment gloves. So you could use Bane with 1 curse, 2 more curses in the gloves and get Bane with Despair/Temp Chains/Enfeeble all in a single cast even while min-maxing your Bane DPS! " |
