Nice collection of *new* supporter titles, 'bruh'. In the end, that's all that matters, regardless of whatever other crap you want to say against the company or its game.

Old/New comparison.

Hmmm...I always thought old Zana was wearing Thousand Ribbons over a stripped down Assassin's Garb, like a real adventurer.

I don't really remember seeing the lace get-up new Zana is wearing in the equipment catalog, otherwise, I would have put the ranger in it.

Should get rid of the sword as well...

Don't see why. She's wielding one now.

It looks really out of place with the new design. Either the sword or the jacket needs to go, imo.

Still, there's something incredibly liberating about a good rogue-like being 100% dictated by rng/luck. It all feels so fair in its unfairness to all.

Like when a cold blast destroys all your healing potions just to add insult to injury.

And you're dead right -- we trade visual panache for flexibility of options. But I guess that's why we still read books that cost nothing but time and effort to produce in this era of movies that cost hundreds of millions of dollars to look and sounding stunning.

To bring this full circle, I do wonder where PoE is going aesthetically. For a while, we accepted the game would be less-pretty than its contemporaries but the trade-off was a complexity and depth rarely found in today's ARPGs (and indeed, never seen before -- the next most-complex ARPG below PoE, ever, is very...very far down the scale -- Grim Dawn, I'd say). But in accepting that we really have come to lower our standards graphically over the years. I raised Guild Wars earlier in this thread because to me that was and is the perfect example of a game that is both incredibly deep and incredibly beautiful. Even now.

There shouldn't be a need for this trade-off, and maybe 4.0 will prove that. Maybe.

TBH, I was mostly pen and paper, and I avoided online games forever. POE was really a step up in graphics from what I was playing.
Wow, now that was a surprise. She looks completely amazing! And the lighting is magnificent. Really nicely done.

If this is the fidelity we can expect in 4.0, I think we're in for a massive shock.

Looking forwards to seeing my beloved Heidi, err, Witch. ;)
