As closer to the topic. While Nugiyen is doing good, I hope that GGG will not only check what level did melee builds reach, but also check out how they were played. When I watched the gameplay, it just doesn't feel melee. Much more like kiting with a short range skill. |

" So you're trying to tell me that all people who complain about melee underpowered etc only use those single target skills to clear something? Are you fucking kidding me? " No, I never said that lol. I'm just saying that those are melee-weapon-range skills. Using those skills is dangerous, so people tend to use skills that keep you as far away as possible when dealing with crowds. This thread is a prime example, since at its core it involves taking Cleave and increasing its range so much that you can safely engage melee mobs without them hitting you a single time. What we're hoping for is that a time will come when everyone will be able to wade into those large mobs and use (new) melee-weapon-range AoE skills (By which I mean stuff like Zeal from D2). |

watched the stream now and he is using cleave like i do with my marauder 2H axe and for me its melee...
