The chaos Recipe change and It's effect on the economy

From the new patch notes:

Item Balance Changes:
A set of vendor recipes related to handing in complete sets of rare gear have been changed. The rewards are now based on the item levels of the gear and can range from one Orb of Chance to three Regal Orbs under certain conditions.

I really wonder how much of an impact this will have on the economy, chaos orbs will be much rarer, in turn making it much more expensive to reroll a rare, making good rares a lot more valuable.

Really curious how it'll work out.

i think its a pretty good idea i didnt like the fact that all those 24/7 teams good sell high itemlvl basics for few gcps now they have to use them for chaos or maybe regal orbs

It would make actually getting a good item more exciting i suppose :) And i barely ever find regal orbs, i think i owned less regals then I've had exalteds, it'll probably get me to finally use that method of crafting instead.
I still dont get this change. Why the fuck they cant explain what they changing exactly...

People where launching multiple clients to farm Rare/yellow items by killing vaal over and over with 6 clients active to get loads of loot.

These rares/yellows can then in turn be sold to a vendor when you have a full set of them in trade for a Chaos orb.

Now the recipe reward will differ depending on the itemlevels of the items you sell.

Thk Cap. I know about this, and i doing it my-self ( just with 1 window ).
For me its the only way to efficiently farm Fusing orbs. Yes Fusing Orbs. Now i will eventually run out of all currency cause i will be unable to buy scrolls of wisdom, and all this because of retarded fusing system.

Seems like GGG dont give a fuck about solo-player at all. Just steam roll game with full party.

Yay.

Still love this game.

Gotta hand it to GGG they respond quickly, good to see.

I used to multiclient myself but since that's really only feasible to do in normal I assume I'd no longer be seeing 2 chaos for sets.
Good change!
I haven't multiboxed at all, and though I may earn less currency than my counterparts who do so, I'm still sitting on 12 exalted equivalent after expenses. I earn my cash via barter, selling alterations, and lowbie currency farming.

Sure solo players may be a little affected - but considering the changes I believe that full sets of gear being sold might actually refer to the number of mods the piece of equipment has, directly or indirectly modifying the results.

I've used the recipe 5, maybe 6 times since OB began. Big whoop.

Times, they are a-changin', may want to adapt to them best as you can.

So... Should I be multiboxing in order to get the most out of this game, or what?

Well, this is kind of bullshit, you couldn't come up with a better way to nerf this? I used this recipe all the time, and I don't multi-client. Once again, exploiters ruining the fun for the solo players. Thanks.
