Don't nerf Syndicate encounters
Didn't read thread.
But sorry buddies, syndicate is grossly overtuned content compared to everything else, only 10-20 bosses are nastier. It often hurts FAR FAR more than map boss and can attack from anywhere, can often oneshot whenyou can't see shit etc. In other words, this content is completely not balanced. I'd be all for making hard content when you choose to enter it, but this stuff is clearly way way overtuned. I am the light of the morning and the shadow on the wall, I am nothing and I am all. it's voluntary. you can play on standard and avoid all of the super OP content.

" Not saying much at all. Map bosses are pushovers for the most part and those that can be potentially rippy or long to do, people skip. Map bosses arent an issue for people built through dps. They melt too fast to do anything, and if they have phases they will be skipped. Compare syndicates to less phasy and less tanky guardians. It's not even that level tbh, fortification is the toughest one by far, and most of it because of super tanky rares that have auras. It's kinda like the old jungle valley boss fight where rares usually fucked people over. |

It's pretty much oneshot-range of anything that tries to take on the content in a direct fashion without mega tank build. It's not even close to balanced and makes even more builds than before not worth considering.

Yea i can clear it on 3k hp too, but i can get instagibbed on 8k es as well(with ci and between 30-70% reduction to their damage done) on a random t10 map if i stand still more than 1 second without a chance to see what's happening.

i'm new and casual player here, but:
when 80% of my deaths (77deaths @ lvl89) are from syndicate members on Maps inferior to t8, there is a PROBLEM. i have no problem with any breach's, map boss's, etc (of course i may screw on boss i never fought), my skeleton-caster army destroy's anything. syndicate member's are just totally not tuned to maps they belong to. they are not content you choose to do. they are annoyers present in EVERY map, that will insta kill me, no way their damage is 'in line' with rest of my map's difficulty. the boring part is they are not a boss you engage to, like getting in the arena part of a map. they are not skippable, depending on map layout. and their damage is totally out of control, compared to other boss/mobs i encounter. (89 necromancer 4870hp/1600es/40% MoM (with corrrect manapool) |

i'm getting tierd of Ambush bullshitery.
i have no problems with things that i can skip,but when this bullshit jump out of the nowhere and keep TP to you no matter what and then oneshot you all i want i just quit PoE 'till next day. also FIX THE DAM FORTIFICATIONS it's unplayable. infinite spawns blocking doors in indoor maps like Core where there like 0 distance between map walls and fortification itself. you simple.can't.reach.it. more than half of the deaths is from random crap like Ambush or Tora offscreening. this is amazing.
the encounters were fine BEFORE the nerf. now they're just silly. fortification is SERIOUSLY the easiest one. you have infinite time and the syndicate more/less stays there. this thread proves precisely why ggg shouldn't have nerfed the syndicate. the casuals were/are going to complain, regardless.
