Guys, you can choose whose explanation you want to hear for that: the person who has no issues with the syndicate, but fails to show himself, or the other person who hasn't run a single map in this league?

Edit: btw I have another account with another character, which kills Janus on T16 easy peasy, but can't show it. Take my word for it though. :)

Btw I just had another rip without +2 projectiles. The fortress seems to be absurdly overturned. Probably accidentally.

How is that a glass cannon? 2.5-3.5k health is a perfectly reasonable amount of health when you begin mapping. 5k+ is an endgame suggestion, not for Kitava2.

If he's able to clear the monsters in a tier 2 map and take normal hits, it's not really a glass cannon, is it?

If he's able to do low tier maps but consistently dies to the encounters at that tier, that pretty strongly implies that the encounters are much more powerful than that area should allow.

If GGG won't nerf syndicate and the monsters respawning with them (non-stop respawning with damage taking delay), the online numbers of players will drop very fast. I'm playing PoE every evening after work for 2+ years and I'm done with this game for the first time. I've tried 3 different builds, and everyone of them was oneshotted everytime I encountered syndicate monsters (no matter - 5k hp + MoM 3k mana, or 7k hp + alot of phys. reduction). If GGG won't nerf this, I won't play PoE anymore and I'll recommend to my friends stop playing aswell. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who are really pissed off because of this stupidly OP syndicate monsters.

What a coincidence :D This is my reply two pages back:

Elron lvl 68 Consecrated Path:

75% of Physical Damage Converted to Fire Damage
Can be Attached for a total Duration of 2 seconds
Deals up to 20% more Damage to closer targets
Deals 101% of Damage

Imagine you gave him a Lorag's Firestarter:

Gain 50% of Physical Damage as Extra Fire Damage
all_damage_can_ignite
Always Ignite

And on top of it, you run map with "Monsters deal (90-110)% extra Damage as Fire" mod.

Yup. I'm quite pleasantly surprised that they even added this much challenge in the first place. Usually the part of league content that isn't rngated is absurdly boring.

Easy. All deaths outside of connection issues and crashes are YOUR fault. You did something wrong, maybe failed to evade a hit or ran into a skill. Whatever the reason, the fault lies with you, and you should take note not to do that again in the future ;)

Lol WHAT. That little hp isn't acceptable at any point after campaign hahaha. I mentioned earlier that I've done campaign with negative resis and 2.4k hp. What I didn't mention was that when I entered maps, it became an entirely different play field; couldn't even clear t1 map without dying once.

Thanks for posting a video that backs up my point! There's a clear yellow circle on the ground, which indicates Elreon's charged up attack. Guy doesn't move after seeing it (there's almost a second to react to it) and gets killed by a charge circle he actually saw. I'll admit, there are occasions when the circle is VERY difficult to see, but this was not one of those times.

This video shows why playing league content blind in HC is a bad idea; if he knew what to expect from Elreon, if he knew what that circle meant, he would've evaded the death VERY easily. I know this because I wouldn't have died there, and since I've heard of this guy's name before I'd say it's safe to assume that he's many times better player than me. It's clear as day that he had no idea though.


Final note, Janus is SUPER easy ragdoll and free kill at all levels. Easily one of the three easiest Syndicate members to appear. The fact that you think he's hard is really mindblowing. Tsk tsk.

You might suck that bad, but for GOOD players like myself and that streamer, the time was plenty to move away from a known 1-shot move. Just like we know to move from hand of god, Vaal Oversoul smash, Malachai smash, Kitava's multiple smashes and firebreath.... You should get the idea. That death was literally due to lack of knowledge, no matter how you wanna twist it. :)

As for the other video you linked, using common sense isn't forbidden. If you intentionally offscreen the enemies and MISS THE WINDUP FOR BIG ATTACKS, is the game REALLY to blame? LOL no. Player error, AGAIN. Finally something to counter player offscreen builds!
