After 18 Years...Frozen Orb is BACK!! :D

From video we can see:

-6 max stacks
-4 seconds base duration (if no skill effect duration on it)
-hes using 6l on a low level area

For me:
-its not good for elemental equilibrium cwc other spell, it hits fast and while you moving and it hits, elemental equilibrium will be bad for the cold hit.

-conversion to fire seens great, but not with whispering ice

-If go CwC it must be a projectile spell, to benefit from GmP that seens mandatory for this skill.

-If taking inquisitor and forgeting about elemental equilibrium u can use any proj spell for cwc. This is best for ball of lightning with slow proj support.

My conclusion:

Crit Inquisitor + herald of ice or inpulsas with:
Winter orb + cwc + ball lightning + slow proj + GmP +

cyclone cast on critical strike new ice spear = frozen orb

Not even close. Frozen orb isn't a channeled skill. D:

Winter orb, Cold to Fire, Cast when Channeling, Firestorm, Efficacy, controlled destruction.

Throw in Avatar of Fire. seems more mobile than Scorching Ray.

You ppl seem to forget about reworked Arctic Breath. Even no rework, I would use that for CwC... other skills could be :

Arc (with Brotherhood ring)
Frostbolt with threshold jewels
Magma Orb?

It is the same reason I secretly love this deeply fucked up trade system in PoE. Somehow it feels more human than walking up to a an AH in WoW.

D3 had a frozen orb too. There was a time too, when it wasn't even useless.
