Yea he really needs some elemental leech doesnt he :^)
20% max life and mana leech per second is a little bit stronger than the 6% life and mana regen on consecrated ground. Like how does Inquisitor get ele life and mana leech to reach the cap? going down at Duellist and wasting like 6 skill points there? Berserker gets the whole ranger dodge instead for those skill points. "40% more damage, 10% increased damage taken" or "enemies take 16 increased elemental damage and deal 8% less elemental damage", what is the better deal? I would say the Berserker thing and for me its not even close to be honest, neither in STandard nor in Hardcore league. In those 2 points Zerker has better sustain and better damage than inquisitor, the only controversial thing is RAGE and that is for good reason controversial cause the bonus is not good enough for the average phyiscal scaling build. But for ele scaling it is. So dont scale with phys unless you got a mirror tier gear and if you got that then just skill 2 minor nodes of the beserker ascendancy instead. Like why you guys are all discussiong about 10% degen? When ya really wanna get the Warbringer instant heal that everyone should want, the leech and the 40% more damage, then you can go only for 5% degen anyway and 5% extra degen does not break the deal of going 60% reduced life recovery maps whatever. What I'd love would still be to turn him into Huskar from Dota.

Will it fix 2h? Of course not but they have two options for fixing 2h they can substantially buff them and i mean like 50% or 2h get an extra affix + prefix slot or some OP bs like that but that would require them to rebalance all the skills again or they can nerf stat sticks tweak boss health down appropriately so they feel the same. I expect neither though what they will do is absolutely gut something, and buff something else so it becomes retardedly OP which is pretty much their MO. |

It was a no win situation as soon as they put in an item that doubled your damage for pretending to use it, stat sticks are an interesting concept but they didn't need to make them so good that they annihilated the competition.
You only really get one chance to get balance right on new items, once they've been in a while we get used to them. Hell I was strongly against them from the get go and even I just feel like they are part of the game now just fix something else :/ |
