Zerker on the bottom of the lists yet again.
So do you guys think after this league MAYBE Zerker might get a few changes? I believe his degen just needs to be adjusted or dealt with along with his rage generation. Either it needs to be changed to a small amount of life regen per rage or the degen needs to be converted to physical damage overtime. I also believe that the chance to grant a rage on unique/rare enemies is too low.

I think Zerker needs a bit more than that to be honest. IMO the rage degen itself is the least of his problems.
Zerker isn't even that bad, in terms of strict stats! He's just boring, annoying and slightly outclassed. Numerical buffs don't feel like the solution. I'd vote for another soft rework. I think zerker needs a tree similar to necro. One large central node (the primary rage generation node would be an obvious pick) that has three more connected to them, with UNIQUE benefits from rage. While we're at it, why not make it the second - wait, no, I forgot that deadeye has bleed aswell - third bleed class? It would certainly fit the image of a berserker (with bleed being more of an axe thing and all).
I think ascendency classes were a really good change, since before them we had too much freedom of choice, literally only the Yggdraskill starting point, the starting weapon and gem, base stats and unarmed base damage were slightly different. But nothing is worse than a generic class imo. And currently berserker is about as generic as it gets, despite having a lot (and I mean a LOT) of potential. I make dumb builds, therefore I am.

" I never made a zerker until this league because before I just didn't care for how the mechanics worked for a lack of a better explanation. I think his best point is the warcrys by far but that's only one set of points. His 40% more damage is nice but it doesn't really do anything. His rage just doesn't feel good, case and point. His leech nodes I would never take, unless I wanted to save some points somewhere else. Like I said, they need to get rid of the 10% more damage taken, the degen or heck even both. I just hate looking at the zerker and feeling like I'm a masochist playing him lol. BTW I LOVE THE SIRE OF SHARDS - Made several builds with it through the leagues :) |

Good Ascendancies have multipliers to their damage and significant increases to their survivability.
Mediocre/Bad Ascendancies have multipliers to their damage but fail to boost survivability. Beserker have increases to their damage and negative multipliers to their survivability....... Gee, wonder why no one would want to play that? |

" that isn't remotely "significant". golem nodes are for....golems. they don't aid your survivability at all. freeze immunity. so you get a free flask affix in a 4th ascendancy point. paragon of calamity. so you get 8% reduced damage taken of an element you've taken recently. again. hardly significant. lest we forget these are exactly the points almost no elementalist actually takes, lol |
