Delve is garbage income - It's time to stop

Did it work? At one point tier 16 maps were selling for like 5c.

As long as I played, yeah. I ran 1 T16 super buffed map for best map return gains and then Lair / div card / random reds to get i83 Temple and bam, big money.

I spent as much time in Temple as I did in Delves per hour. In both maps and Temples, it was way better drop rate for loot / maps than in Delves.
Uploaded an awesome Exsanguinate Freeze Explosion build on the forums - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3508506

Delve is a good, steady, source of currency.

Completely void of any understanding how the game works. Maps are SPIKEY but the place where you have 10 garbage nodes and then 1 good node is STEADY? Nothing makes MAPS spikey, maps are in absolutely every way more consistent currency / items than Delves in 100% all drops.

All in all, you said nothing, showed nothing and there is no such thing as getting spiked drops in maps unless you play only Burials. You don't even have to play to game to understand that Delves aren't steady income compared to all other options.

And, you skipped over the rest of my post where those issues were addressed.

You made a thread in which you stated a premise, declared it true and are now insulting people who have a differing opinion than yours, maintaining that no matter their own experience, they must be wrong.

And, as demonstrated by your "Superman Action Figure" post, you're willing to lie just so you can create an insult towards someone.

A few players will certainly make a lot of currency running top-tier end-game maps as rapidly as possible with the appropriate gear and builds for doing that. Yes, that is true. Big deal. That is an exception to the median level of play and it will not be possible for everyone.

I made an Ex selling garbage I got in Delve while sitting in my Hideout and two Ex worth of currency drops in one Delve run, not counting the drops that I have yet to put up for sale. That's not "Big Money," but it's steady money and easy to do. Plus, I get all the crafting mats I want for playing around with the new crafting mechanics.

Fossils are "crack" and people buy them over and over, trying to craft that one "uber" piece of gear to solve all their gearing problems and I am only too happy to oblige them. Gear drops by the ton and there's always going to be something worth selling. Chaos and Regal formulas are ridiculously easy to fulfill and I get multiples of those every run. Maps sprout from chest and Div cards explode all over the floor. All but a very few uniques are vendor food because they drop so frequently.

Delve is not "Garbage Income."

I don't care what you think. I think that it is very likely that nobody cares what you think when it directly conflict with their experience playing the game. I'm sure you find that hard to believe.

Have a nice day.

The problem with Delve is that BOTH the occurance rate of good nodes, and the benefits of the nodes scale with depth. A city at depth 150 is gonna give you a few white maps. A city at depth 350 is gonna vomit T15 and 16s all over you. This would be fine and good.... but on top of this, at depth 150 you'll get like 1-2 city node in 3 screens of delve exploration, but as you go deeper they are fucking everywhere.

I think it was a mistake scaling node-quality with depth. Just scaling node-rewards with depth was enough. By scaling both node-quality and node-rewards, it creates a very exponential curve, so that more casual players who can't get very deep get pretty much bupkiss and make it feel like delving is a complete waste of time.

A more linear system of rewards would have better balanced delve so it didn't create such a huge gulf between showers you with wealth vs wasting your time.

maybe stop clinging to your achingly bad builds that clearly can't cope with delve content. GLHF.

That elitist BS is so tired. People deserve to get rewarded for their content at any level. yes, better builds that can go deeper do deserve better rewards, but it's kind of broken as it is implimented.

Delve is very crushing. I have characters who I have used to clear Uber Elder who struggle hard when going past depth 250.

I'm at 400 delve and I still barely see any cities, and most of them are still sub 3 nodes. so dont know about that,
The exp in delve is insane compared to maps, with sulphite capped you can make the exp from 10+ maps in a few minutes, and if lucky more currency. Plus you have areas that have no mods, no matter how deep you are, and i can easily delve in 300+ depth with a squishy MF build without dying, while at the same time i have to skip some boss fights in certain maps because i will die for sure.

You're delving wrong man.

I've found 5-10 cities below 200 depth, and even more above that. It's just RNG.
OP induced 11 pages of garbage posts about shit they don't really care about! Ask them how!

OP is low-quality russian troll with a superhero complex.

When I was young, pre 2013, we still had real trolls that were fun to watch playing their game. This thread is a disgrace to Trollheim.

I guess you expected a modern time /s? Yeah, You will not get one, this is HOW pissed off I am by this mediocre performance of a second class bridge-dweller.

wait what?

from depth 115 to 215 i found 1 1-node city biome and it's not that i went straigth down.
above 115 i found 5 biomes where one was a 0-node one.
