Delve is garbage income - It's time to stop
Mapping is entirely luck-based, there are no guaranteed rewards. That said, I have something like 25ex worth of stuff (not counting that eye) found in maps versus maybe 3ex from delving (counting map drops in delve and not counting map drops in maps). Playing mostly alch+vaal on random T12-T15 without sextants, rerolling or IIQ/IIR on gear.
Organic chemistry is a weird thing. If you add a spoon of shit to a barrel of jam you'll get a barrel of shit.

" First of all; a well-written response. Good for you. Secondly, 99% players don't post on Youtube. They can never show you proof. Yes, they can link their hard-earned currency, but they can never prove that they got it through delving. I can tell you for a fact that i found 4 "Hidden Wealth" chests in side areas in one long stretch up to a currency node with 3 chests in it. That yielded 1ex, 2 annulment orbs and around 20 chaos plus a whole lot of other currencies. One stretch. 2-3 minutes. Can I prove this? No. Do you believe it? Doubtfully. Is it true? Yes. Does this happen often? Of course not. But it DOES happen, and there ARE a lot to be found down there at times. I've already agreed with you on the fact that mapping efficiently probably yields more in the long run, especially if we factor in trading. But in pure currency? Arguable. But you seem hesitant to believe anyone that has found more than you down there. I'm not a Youtuber. I will never post a video on Youtube, don't see the point. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

One thing I'll give delve - the map drops are absurd. I don't think they can even compare with the incursion ones, a city gives much more than a single incursion temple run.

" Except incursion temples was way more accessible than delve cities. Organic chemistry is a weird thing. If you add a spoon of shit to a barrel of jam you'll get a barrel of shit.

" Both of them are RNG in a different way. You search for the cities and try to luck out, on the other side you have to luck out with a specific room. |

" For you maybe. I'm lucky if I get 2 map chests in a cluster of 6 outposts, and usually one of those chests will drop garbage tier reds, or no reds at all. I had a chest last night in Primevil Ruins outpost drop a single excavation map in a monster level 83 area. That and I usually have to burn about 30k sulphite to find another outpost around depth 350. I keep seeing people talking about how delve is raining maps on them and I wonder if my RNG is awful or are they just exaggerating like crazy. Don't know about exaggerations, I have 2.5 stash tabs filled with red maps. In fact today I started with 3 maps and now I have 37.

" No, I farmed the Temple itself as well and on average I got 1 T16 map every run from mobs + 2 on average from rooms. Carto + Storage rooms were way more common than cities are and also held more maps in overall. All in all, I can't compare Incursion map drops with Delve maps at all as I legitimately made map selling and farming as one of my main strategies in Incursion. Did it work? At one point tier 16 maps were selling for like 5c.
