I understand that you're frustrated going two steps back and one step forward... but perhaps a better argument is: the current death penalty system only allows for select builds to advance the farthest in the game. So much of this fight would be resolved if they just stopped making it take so long to level past 90 or even 95! Why are we arguing about the penalty when we should be arguing about exp gains? I'm just completely lost why HC players keep on coming here and telling what is wrong with SC players' attitude on playing SC. They can stay on playing HC. But if there is a problem there, let me give out a suggestion: why not make it so HC death results in deleting the character outright. That way HC players stop meddling in game modes which they don't approve anyway. Right? the death penalty was ALREADY lowered from 15 to 10%. people will complain until this game is candy crush - and we're already halfway there. and exp gain is way higher than it once was, too. but again, people will still complain about the inverse.
