People not answering to trade requests.

So, another "this trade system is fucking shit" thread.

The internal AH/shop has been proposed multiple times, and it has been rejected all the times, so I won't ask for that again, because you are obviously too dumb to understand that making game harder by making shitty UI (because poe.trade is basically external UI that just takes more time and has failure chance) is not a good idea.

But there is one little problem, there are a lot of items listed on poe.trade (or pathofexile.com/trade that i just found out) whose owners do not bother to respond.
So, can you at least add some sort of public information how many succesful trades have been acomplished in last 30 mins by the player? At least we would be to tell whether that player is actually interesting in trading or not.

Goes both ways. Buyers are incredibly impatient and spam 9000 traders at the same time. As a seller knowing this - if I dare to take longer than 3 seconds to respond, it's pretty much certain that the person in question already moved on.

I also get messages like "K IGNORED" and the like, when I take longer than 3 seconds.
i dont like your idea at all. im far being a good seller. im casual, play few hours per week, sometime i play standard also. i dont look how much i should list this item and this one, i take a price straight from my ass and if it sell, nice! if not, it gonna stay in some premium remove only tab. i will always have a bad trade score "in the last 30min"
Glowing green mouse cursor plz.

this.

people just spam away and trade with the first person who parties, with no regard to how it affects others.

*facepalm*

please just add me to your ignore list now and get it out of the way.

also, if you have a problem with people not responding to you, you're probably on many ignore lists. which really isn't surprising, given what you've already said.

Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge.

This system promotes doing that. No amount of but this is bad will even make it go away.

no, impatient/self-entitled people do that. and it creates a vicious cycle. ...which is the best part. the complainers are responsible for that which they complain about.

When people don't respond I tend to check /whois. If they're in the lab or something it makes sense they don't respond, sometimes you're just busy. But it's weird when they're in the hideout and still can't be arsed to respond.

Should also be said that this issue is probably worse this league due to delve. If you are there, you pretty much can't respond, or you'll die.

In my brief experience it can be a nag to buy cheap items, like low-ish maps or items worth a few chaos. But go a bit over that and people tend to respond more frequently. And as always, don't go for the items listed on top/cheapest. They are often fake, with people trying to price fix and trick newbies. Usually better to go a little bit further down the list, and of course don't bother with AFK guys. Almost always BS listings.
There should be some kind of way to filter players in hideout or something like I suggested in here https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2219098. Would make it easier for the seller so he'd get more pm's when in hideout instead of being in map/lab
