Sulphite WP farming is stupid as hell.
" you might add "while being blind folded, while being submerged under water, while trying to escape sharks" etc. you can beat all content in ssf, it's just a matter of dedication and understanding of the game. most people who get to maps and fail somewhere in the yellow tier range do so (at least from my observation) because they have no clue how the game works. they pick dps and movement speed nodes over defences often with 2k health and uncapped resists. then they give up and roll another char because they need a "better build" and not better skill and understanding of the mechanics. the game IS faceroll IF you have a clue what you're doing except for a few endgame encounters as stated by someone else earlier. |

" yep. It stops adding time, it starts removing it, massively. Heres an idea for the devs. Instead of trying to find ways to waste players time in order to try and hold on to them: Make fun content that people want to play, let them play it and then set the rewards of this content to a reasonable level where they can keep playing it for ages without capping out their progress? You know, the way good games people play for ages do, the way poe used to do back when it was a good game and people played a 3 month league for 3 months? I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" Indeed. Not to say mechanics like invulnerable monsters to penalize exploration. Just very cheap and bad mechanics, and hey, gameplay feels great i can't deny that. "In this game you're just a cow being milked, not a human being entertained" - Kiss_Me_Quick

If you haven't reached Delve 350 minimum your opinion on the matters is rather irrelevant. Most players are single players, they don't have groups farming for sulphite in maps. Anything below 200 is a measily 30-70 cost. It's nothing, you can get that shit with 2 quarry wps.

" What? That is patently false. Delves at 195 already cost a minimum of 107 for the shortest run. League's not even two weeks old. GGG didn't make delve as a map replacement. Though I wish they had! Just play the game.

" Actually it does, because player retention applies to all experiences not just a specific cross-section. I haven't even breached 80 because I personally don't feel the motivation to push grinding the azurite to grind sulphite to grind azurite. Incursion on the other hand wasn't nearly as painful as you were just grinding out against the rng layers. In delve you're still having to grind out against rng layers, but there are resource grinds on top of that. Sulphite grind isn't necessary given how much azurite is burned upgrading everything needed for deeper delves. Yep, totally over league play.

It's the expectation you need to run high level maps to feed high level (but not equal level) delves. A single T14+ map will give about 200 sulphite per node and each map will have 1-4 nodes.
I'm running T15 (level 82) non stop but I am only depth 202 (level 78). IGN: Arlianth

" it gets much, much better at 150 or so. initially, when you breeze through the depths you need to constantly upgrade your resists and light, but get little azurite. later, there isn't such pressure anymore to keep your cart upgraded. |

" So you find your own skill lacking and you want the game to be adjusted for that, is that it? I'm a self-found player and I've made it to level 90+ and T15 maps more than once using my own builds. This league is looking promising too. My map pool still needs some work but that's largely just a matter of time. I don't pick skills that are popular but ones that appeal to me. Sometimes the two happen to coincide, other times not. |
