Should Delve Stay?
Stay. Easy. It's a fantastic experience and fits really well within the setting. It would be great in standard and future leagues.

Yes. They need more stuff to do after players reach max level.
At least, in my opinion. I haven't played an endgame character since before the Fall of Oriath, so maybe it's better know. That's what I'm hoping. |

Clearly with all the extra work, Niko will need Einhar to come back and be a (stupid beast!) mule wrangler.
/transparent I miss Einhar ploy. |

The cart needs to stop if you go off to the side to explore... yes, I know you can backtrack. But if the cart would wait, I wouldn't need to.

unless they fix the shit with the walls and make them a LOT easier to find. even if I could pinpoint the instance where a wall is located, I'm not gonna die 700 times searching every last inch of the fucking darkness for something that might or might not be there, and might or not might give me loot, which might or not might be worth finding in the first place
LOL and there really need to be more surprises in the delves. it becomes routine really quickly. delve in its current form is really not the non-map endgame alternative the game so critically needs - in fact it's providing a convenient excuse for ggg to NOT implement a proper non-mapping alternative endgame now!!! (e.g. my Kingdoms concept). by letting this half-assed shite stay, you are costing poe a real endgame mode. so [x] NO, unless massive improvements are made. PS: what really should be the idea of delving is that several players' delve maps are shared and you can meet other players in the depths and fight for terrain and resources. in other words, underground KINGDOMS. this would be very easy to implement as all the assets already exist now. a shared competitive delve map would finally turn poe into a real multiplayer game! worst part of delve is that you got a huuge map to explore, which should be the best thing ever! but there's nothing really interesting to find on that map (wow, more currency and items... the same thing each and every league provides us with *snore*), nor any reward for conquering a certain square on the map! that is a massive conceptual mistake. spreading out your territory and conquering a continent to the last inch is a tried and true concept in any 4x game that they should've put into this delve thing as well and oh yeah, the cart really needs to move WITH you, not the other way round, just like the delve FAQ said before the league. since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good Last edited by LMTR14#6725 on Sep 7, 2018, 4:20:02 AM

" they really did that? I do remember I saw delve labelled an expansion even though it's clearly a league. so since ggg will never give up doing the fucktrocious temp league shit, each and every league's flavour has to go to core now (cause they are by definition "expansions". based on how creative most leagues were til now (read: not creative whatsoever), the chances of ggg coming up with something interesting every 3-4 months that can be added to core and isn't just a reskinned copy of a previous idea are slim to none. based on how bugged delve still is, they won't have the development time to add something complex every 3-4 months either. the right thing to do would be to finally DO AWAY with temp leagues and create a permanent game for everybody and put all your development into the long-term perspective already! since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good Last edited by LMTR14#6725 on Sep 7, 2018, 4:57:47 AM
