Guardian vs necro for new minion skills?

I googled it but haven't found anything.

My build: Zombies, spectres (later with souls's wick), dominating b, spirit offering, herald, skeletons (maybe with totem), lots of extra duration, life based.

I think necro is obviously better (mistress, puppet, commander, invoker). Guardian has 2 decent nodes for minions. Other nodes useless for my build, I don't need more regen and can't stack mana for es.

The way I see it, go Necromancer if you want minions to do all the work and you just stand in the back and support. Go Guardian if you want to fight alongside them and deal damage yourself too.
Aren't choices wonderful? You get one. Either way should be fun.
2 build styles:
Wellbuild 6link spectres do so much dps, so not sure if u reach any mobs by melee hits. You can add also herald of agony, zombies as shields, vaal skelies for single dps boost. Add herald of agony with some poison ball lighting. Definitely go as necro

Or play melee summoner hybrid wirh purity and dom. Blow with ape spectres who gives u frenzy and power charges. Then guardian seems better for me. Maybe going CI, low life for better survive with many auras..
I've done both in PoB and they're very similar, but Necro had more DPS and better ascendancy for the minions. Guardian had lower DPS but a more tanky ascendancy for you.

The DPS was over 1 mil for both, so at that point you just go with player preference. If you plan to go deep in Delve survivability is probably the best option.
Go scion,take both and use might of meek and new jewel to compensate for lack of one spectre in multiplier part.

But Scion lacks the new guardian (and pathfinder) changes. It's still very good, but lacks the 'new and improved' flavour of guardian.
for the new ones? Guardian, they put too much specific shit on his nodes
Considering new melee minion gems and DB , Champion is also a legit choice. High melee survivability will probably be necessary in order to delve deep enough.
I feel like necromancer has to be better, especially if using smite for the commander of darkness node. All those nodes giving increased minion damage will apply to you as well. Am I crazy for thinking that? You and your minions will get 125% increased damage and 12% increased attack speed from the ascendency, will the 40% increase HoP buff, 10% more damage, and crusade slam really outwork that?
