If you're bad at video games you shouldn't review games at all.
I wanted to make topic on this atrocity of the review, but sadly someone was first in this.
What I have to say about this review? One word: IGN If you are a real gamer that is true insider of the game industry, that ends up to spend more time on reading about games rather than playing them (just as me) than you would know, that the only one company should be avoided when you read reviews, and that is widely known IGN- the shtihole for the sadest reviewers and content stealers on the planet of game industry. Simple, if you want to avoid OCD attacks and hate, jsut avoid this company. They are not worth to be looked at, they got big audience of 10 millions of casuals, and that is why they are making reviews for Casuals, and as all we know, PoE NEVER was made for Casuals. This game is hardcore gameplay based, and hardcore players are the main target of this game. Instead of listening to the big companies about the games, look into people like Lazy Peon, or Rhykker, or Reycevik if you really want to hear professional reviews and insight of non-BIAS-based person. However, to be completely fair, what I can admit about the IGN review, is the fact that indeed, despite PoE having the most complex passive tree system, we are really lacking the possibility to make our skills more exciting. More supporting gems that would not change what the DMG of the skill does to our enemy, but what the skill does as general to the environment, for example Ancestar Call, that is making from the Single target meele skills an AoE beast capable of destroying dozen of enemies. Such mechanics are obselete in PoE, and I hope that in future we will see much more of ways of modifying our skills into something new and crazy. But that one point of agreement on the review is not enough to call the IGN other than bunch of scumbag liers. "This game gave me AIDS but they promote Gender fluidity, I rate this game 11/10" ;- IGN Please don't mute me

" I love the chasm between the kind of focus and dedication she has in the game and the sheer laziness of her posts. Emotionally lazy, grammatically lazy, intellectually lazy. I take my hat off to how few fucks she appears to give about so many things that females are schooled to give - decorum, other people's feelings, being arrogant - , and how many she must about very select things, to be able to back her attitude with achievements very few can even get close to. She's kind of a hero to me, for that. Keep on being you, I_NO. |

" I implore you to get real. She farms achievements in Softcore and trolls people on a forum. She isn't even a decent troll since she has the expressive capabilities of Twitch chat. Hardly a slayer of gender norms. That I_NO isn't banned from these forums is proof that the mods are huge fans of Ayn Rand and think regulations are the devil. " This. I'm sure the sounds of a cash register banging in the backround doesn't hurt either. "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

I mean i get that it's the guy's first time playing and he probably has some crappy build and is doing all the areas fully and reading lore and quests etc (which is fine), but 75 HOURS??? Even in the context i just gave, that sounds WAAAAAY too excessive.
Also the ppl that say the acts take too long... man vets get to maps in a fresh league, in 6-10 hours during day 1. Git gud... Last edited by Paldamus#1328 on Aug 25, 2018, 8:34:56 AM

It might come as a surprise for the average PoE's player, but not everybody plays PoE 24 hours a day, hence why it can take them up to a week to beat Act 10.
Shocking, I know. especially for the pea-sized brain from the average PoE fanboys. |
