If you're bad at video games you shouldn't review games at all.
Lmao @ all these ppl who moan about PoE being too hard... when i started, i READ stuff to make sure that i understand what the game's about and as i played, i read tooltips, i asked questions in global, i kept reading PoEWiki... stuff that i didn't understand i typed into youtube or google and found my answers... i watched vids and even streamers and i read the forums and tested stuff and used all kinds of sources. Lemme tell you, PoE IS overwhelming indeed and it takes TIME to become knowledgeable, but isn't that fun? I mean you can play a year and still not know many things + it makes you want to research even more etc.
Like you need to be really into PoE, to become good or atleast solid at it. You need to read, connect the dots, figure out stuff on your own and find your answers in various places and it all comes with time. This isn't some casual scrub game man. Are you serious? Listen to every dialogue and object lore, full clear every area with breaking every destructible, opening every chest and searching every corpse, stop every now and again to figure out what every item does and where you have to go for a quest because you are new etc... 75hours is pretty decent cleartime. He actually tried to give poe a fair try by doing everything he was supposed to do as a new player.
And he is also right. The bosses create so much crap on the screen nowadays that you just figure what you can tank through and tank it while staying in place and attacking. They have so much hp and invulnerability phases, to counter the clear speed junkies that litter this thread, that a new player who likes exploring himself can easily fall into the trap of not using the right meta skill or build and therefore having a hard time completing the game. So again he is right. If there is a wrong and a right choice, is there a choice at all? I'm a forum warrior, i was born to post, raised to defend my league. Now my post has been removed, chained and exiled by mods who Ban. Ban is my brother; i do not fear it. I see it in the eyes of men and beasts that i troll. It will take me to play the actual game when i am ready and i am not ready.

Fair enough.
But this guy reviewed PoE professionally and made some valid points. The things I disagree with, are the score, and the fact he put less emphasis on the good sides. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat

" He didn't mention anything endgame and his build is horrible. |

All my builds in 5 years have been "horrible", but damn fun.
and I only saw "end game" for the first time now. That's literally thousands of hours total, not the 75 he spent exploring the lore, side areas etc'. End game is great, and that note to Zana at the end of the Shaper Fight, made a grown man cry. But that doesn't take away from the fact, it's a professional review. With some good conclusions, and some bad. Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat Shadow: That was fun Last edited by johnKeys#6083 on Aug 26, 2018, 2:53:58 AM

My review of "North and south"
I'm severely mentally handicapped and can't actually read, so the book was utter shit. At the very least there should be an option for the book to read itself out loud for me. I realize i could have gotten this from an other sources than the actual hardback book, but why should i be forced to use something else than people who can actually read? |
