Troll detected :) But anyway. Let’s do some math. We have 4 stash tabs, 144 grid spaces each. If we assume, some “new player” wants to have 1 piece of each map, it is 158 now. And we are talking about one piece of each. Before “war for the atlas” 1 tab would be enough but now it is 1 tab and 14 grids of another tab.
Then… nice to have at least some currency. Well, if somebody wants to 6l something with Vorici’s help, it will take 75 grids of fusing orbs. So we can pretty safely assume, currency tab alone will take approximately 1,5 tabs. Now we have 2,5 tabs full of maps and currency alone. But hey, there are also 3 kinds of fragments consists of 4 pieces. Then many kinds of essences (yes, they could be ignored, but how new player can new it), about 200 of different divination cards, offerings… And we have not even talked about any items yet:) And what about trading? Have you ever tried to trade without premium stash tab? Try it:) That’s all about not P2W. Two years ago the game was not P2W, now it is. |

I came in here to see if this was the same old Tabs are PTW and I was pleasantly surprised to see it was ironic.

At each step you saw new threads in which the poor horse was flogged, skinned, and ground into mush ever more. By 2018, as my previous comment outlines, PoE can be fairly classified as a pay2win game. But you can play it without paying, and you can define yourself as winning without playing, so people with contrary selective opinions still have grounds for discussion. So... given the lingering "ethical mtx" remnants, and the expectation of additional currency/fragment items in future expansions increasing stash pressure... the threads will never stop ;) | |
