Blade Vortex insta kill packs of mobs.
Barely make the timer most times. Still find the league alright.
Warchief Totems?
Never get anywhere with an incursion ( getting doors is nigh impossible )
And it makes me hate the league more and more as I try.
-----
If you're playing a super great build ...you wont find much, if any, issues with the league.
If you play anything even remotely normal or subpar ....it's like bestiary all over again x10.
They need to sort out that disparity ASAP.
Stones should be a 100% drop off of architects, that way even the stupidest build can at least upgrade a room and open a door; even if they get nothing from the actual incursion itself as far as drops go.

if you struggle with the timer as BV you're doing something VERY wrong. you can prestack to 10 before you go in and it basically lasts the entire run you dont even need to refresh it
most builds are completely fine.
I think even WC totems could do it properly if built okay but yeah they're on the slower side.
but if GGG crippled themselves by designing every league so that every possible build can do it well, then they'd never make cool leagues ever.

Love incursions, but the timer is just stupid! Honestly, there is no reason for the timer to even be there.
Just remove the timer, or keep the timer but do not port us out when it ends but only allow for keys to drop till the time runs out. After that we could just clear the thing, and still choose an architect.
Also, I love love love the temple. It's fun to be able to choose what to make of it.
The challenges this league seem too rng based though.

If you are insta killing packs you should not be having issues
perhaps your move speed is bad
I dont see any any key!

Yes, I know about prestacking and such, hence my comment about insta killing packs of mobs.
No, having a problem with BV is not me doing something "VERY" wrong. How can I be doing something "VERY" wrong about insta killing entire packs of mobs? Let alone when I'm using 3 speed flasks the entire time? That's the antithesis of doing something "VERY" wrong.
That's the problem with incursions, in that the layouts and RNG associated with the stones means that even a crazy good build can still end up not making a timer. Hell, most of the problem is still tied to having to beat down architects / rares with stupid mod combinations to where they don't take hardly any damage at all; resulting in the timer just getting eaten away.
A meta build, like I stated, won't see much problem with these situations, but a normal build certainly will halt immediately.
I also never stated GGG needs to account for every build imaginable, that's such a lazy and cliche argument to make whenever someone talks about balancing.
The problem is the acquirement of stones, and to a smaller degree how much you risk trying to clear trash mobs for loot / time compared to skipping them to save time. Many builds actually do have to consider this ..when mob layout messes up your ability to clear effectively ( like totems and a ton of passages, or when packs of mobs are spread out to each corner with nothing in between ( you still have to keep spinning up during an incursion with BV ..you don't get to just spin up before entering it and do the entire thing before it runs out ).
There's a difference between something being challenging, and something being designed poorly.
I don't mind challenging, which is why my BV character doesn't stress me out nearly as much as my Warchief one. There's a point where there is no challenge to overcome, there's merely a giant roadblock or inane currency sink to overcome or give up on.

Incursions are not playable on higher levels (red maps). If they're tons of mobs surrounding spawn location you're going to die instantly on the spot obliterated by projectiles (even with high evasion or dodge). Killing fast enough is fast-clear meta build promotion and lack of any possibility to use the key if it drops is a bad design. If you don't manage to get to the door, one should be opened randomly, since it really sucks to go through entire map if it drops at the furthest possible location. Too much rng again. If it drops on first mob then it's fine, but on the last... This or removing mobs and timer after everything to just use the stone. You can't look at the temple map from Alva in peace if mobs are keep attacking you off screen anyway, so that could be the time :(
Yeah, it's easy if you're over-leveled, but otherwise... Especially starting level, another league another design mistake. You're going to be raped by a new league content anyway, so I think it should be unlocked after first part of the game or even during maps. No main quest intrusion anymore. It's really tough for the beginner character. I remember Perandus mobs, they were ripping apart any low level exiles. At some point most people are going to give up and skip this new content anyway, so what's the point? Discouraging from the start.

They are OK but can be frustrating when there is some monster somewhere that has hidden and timer ticks down and you can't find them. I don't think I have ever cursed at PoE this much. Ever.
Censored.
