Loreweave was not given

You did mess up an NPC trade. No one to blame for but yourself. I know you feel butt-hurt right know, but it's your fault alone and ranting on the forum won't change anything. Just go on with your life.
This league started worth 140k players, if they started reviewing every complaint about misunderstanding of mechanic we would never have new patches.
The burden of this mistake and its outcome lies solely on you. Now you know, go on with your life.
At one hand, player clearly saw the outcome in the vendor window, yet still confirmed the trade no matter what.
On the other, there must be order of priorities (like in any other aRPG), and Loreweave should override the prophecy by default. Now that's about the sheer inability and lack of desire to polish things, on developer's side.

Don't want to be offending but that's nonsense.

You trade 5 uniques and trigger the prophecy. If you add another 60 Uniques to the trade window, it will not change the trigger of the prophecy.

The player could have:

- traded 5 other uniques to get rid of the prophecy first
- seal the prophecy
- trade the rings on another character with no prophecy

But he chose to not give a fuck and rant on the forum. Sorry for not being sorry.
It's ok, you just ignored the "order of priority" part and kept typing.

What you are trying to defend, is the prophecy's priority over the Loreweave. Which I don't agree with - because it's the actual nonsense, if there's any.

There's a priority in the game code, if you didn't get it. It's coded, it's there. And it's the prophecy, but not the rare/harder to get/more expensive/costly option.

Even if it is a priority issue, why would a vendor recipe that can be done at any time ever have a higher priority than a conditional prophecy? GGG likes to give you options. That's why multiple item recipes take precedence over single item recipes. You have the choice which reward you want.

Exactly that's the point.

I know priorities. And I use them correctly.

Prophecy outweigh standard trade recipe all the time, cause prophecies are a one-time-trigger thing.

Rarity, cost, common logic?

Look, this is not only a shitty annoying prophecy everone seals or doesn't even bother, but it interacts in a negative way with an expensive recipe, on top of it.

It's not the first complaint on topic, you can google it. And the usual victim are newbies. I know PoE is unforgiving and ultra hardcore and blah blah and all, but someone in the office could just cut his lunch break by 5 minutes to solve the issue and forget. That simple.

Or, you know, people could actually pay attention to what they are doing as well. How much does GGG have to hold people's hands for them? It takes 1/2 a second to actually look to make sure you are getting what you are supposed to.

Same thing applies to the GCP recipe, or Glassblowers or Chaos. Know how many times a year those get reported as a bug? A whole hell of a lot more than you would think and not by noobies either.

Same shit every time.

Hey apologists, ask yourself why they added confirmation on the enchants. In practice it's all the same.
It's not dumbing down the game, it's error correction and polishing.

The noob player aside, in no time it can be reworked in a way it would never happen again.
And how does it affect you if it happen, is beyond me. You can still be the wannabe hardcore warriors any day, anyway.
