There's not just one enemy either, there's a lot of chaos damage in the game - this one just happens to have great accuracy and bursts you down fast because 1) You're not looking 2) You're not prepared 3) You're expecting to facetank and faceroll it.

I would usually get some chaos res later in the game when I have freedom with gear. But it's mostly Beyond (degen ground) and occasional poison that hurts (I never get poison immunity Pantheon, cuz lazy :3).

1. Why I must to have chaos res flask? game have a lot of more useful: basalt, stibnite, jade and so on.
2. How about all othet hundreds of builds, especialy on the left side of skilltree?
3. Chaos resist really neen vs only one enemy in the game, so why I must to rise em up? This stat almost useless besides Vaal Construct fight.
5. Oh, really, good luck with it.

7. You can't dodge 15 very fast projectiles that was shootet at the same time. Also, I repeat myself, only one enemy in the game have this problem.
8. Doors opens automaticaly in incursions, also game can spawn you in open space where neer the screen corner present a lot of constructs and they start shooting almost instantly from far far away. Very aggressive.

That's really unfair, not having anywhere to go to and your reaction time limited to ~zero.

Movement skill (or just walk perpendicular to their shots) out of the way of the initial volley, and then if you need to, make like a bishop and close in diagonally, avoiding most of the subsequent shots. Unless your movement speed is crap, there's no way a good player can die there.

I am actively telling you (with arguments) why that's not unfair at all.
The mobs don't attack until you move your character, you have all the time you need to prepare how to deal with the issue. I countered it with a very simple use of a movement skill. Wow. Genius!

Glad somebody finally posted a clip/screenshot of the problem, people need to stop getting a stick up their butt about chaos damage and building against it and realise this is a design fail/oversight. It causes problems beyond chaos damage you just can't have cannot be evaded mobs in giant clumps that all fire at the same time.

Not to mention the map is +104% extra fire damage monsters.
People are expecting to steamroll through all content in this game now, it's just insane compared to before... Why do you even play the friggin game if you don't want to be challenged by it?

Exactly. Almost all of my friends have died to this exact enemy / problem, streamers have been 1-shot as well with 6k+ life and positive chaos res and we still have White Knights all over the place trying to defend the indefensible.
This is not about character defenses, this is about a way OVERTUNED ENEMY + SOMETIMES UNFAIR SPAWNING SPOTS.
P.S. This is not the 1st time this particular enemy has caused 1-shots in PoE; it's just that this time you keep coming across them @ incursions and weird spots, thus giving you extremely short reaction times or being hit OFFSCREEN !!
P.S. 2 BTW. how many Vaal Constructs can you guys count? Around 20 ??!
