Incursion timer too short
They really should increase time for killing. Starting time is ok, but rn i can clear room 100% but don't have enough time to kill boss.

I completely agree that the time is just too short and killing mobs doesn't add nearly enough and passage stones don't drop nearly enough either. I 1 or 2 shot entire white mobs and still only get to open a passage about every 4th incursion. Typically when I do see a stone drop, it's in the middle of the room and about 3 seconds left on the clock so there is virtually zero chance of getting a passage open. My bet is that if this isn't corrected, a LOT of people are gonna lose interest in this league pretty quickly, myself included! As to all the elitist "you're build is bad, you're bad, git gud" jerks, we're not all no-lifers playing 12+ hours a day or teenagers sucking down energy drinks til they have the twitch reflexes of a mongoose on crack!

Might as well up the difficulty even more and discourage both new and old players from even trying. Good business.

I gotta admit my game seems to lag a lot in temple but i have literally opened 0 doors and ive been playing for some hours since the launch, just saying. also ive been playing poe on and off since alpha xD

What they need to do is increase pack size. Nice to clear if you can find the monsters in time.

Minor updates on improving stone drops

I was extremely lucky enough to get a clear path to the boss room at the start of one of my runs. This is my 4th attack on the temple with a now ~35 level character. In the 4 Temples I've ran, I've been able to open 5 doors total, and kill 7 bosses.
The current initial time is 12 seconds, with a quicksilver and 10% ms boots, I have a 5 second timer for the entirely of the incursion. This is fine for boss attacks, but since the stone passages drop so infrequently, and you're already busy attacking other mobs by the time one of these items drop. You're forced to either kill the boss and risk missing the door backtracking for the item, or pick the stone passage (assuming you're lucky enough to get one to drop) en-route, and pray to god you have enough time left to kill the boss. The above scenarios I've experienced as BEST CASE. 80% of the time I'm not able to reach the boss OR get a stone passage to drop before the timer runs out. I read through a few pages of comments on here, and I agree that bumping the initial time to 15 secs, and granting an extra 30 seconds on boss kill would give players just enough time to use their stone passage(s) wisely before they're kicked out. |

Agreed, that and how the mobs killed give less and less time. I'm pretty much just skipping incursions at this point.

as a namelock melee this was a nightmare. Switched to spellcaster and proceeded to wipe entire screens: still ran out of time sometimes (due to finding no packs, low movementspeed etc).
If they increased the time you gain from damaging stuff all would be well, since it still forces you to do something, but wouldn't punish low level low aoe, non-glass cannons as much |
