Prediction: complaints incoming regarding Aztec theme in Incursion

That League's description actually sounds a bit like you are homicidal maniac who gets back in time just to murder innocent people (extend timer with Vaal's blood) and whatnot doing their chores, just for fun this time around. We could kill civilians before in Oriath square, but that was about it and game didn't enouraged us to do it in any way. Now entire League is about mass murdering people in the past in order to reap benefits in the future.

Though when you enter Incursion, mobs will attack you first like all the other monsters, right? So, it's fine? Can this be considered self-defense even though it's you who invade their territory (though same applies to maps and it's kinda fine?)? Is it?

This post just made me realise that the players are the cataclysm that ended the vaal empire :O
well, feeling addressed cause i complained about the nazi theme cause my grandpa has been one.

somewhere here has/has grandparents that have been atztek gods?
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
My guess would be complaints about DCs.

This new temple is clearly based on labyrinth technology an will suffer from similar issues. Might even be trap gauntlets in it and it would fit the theme ^^

So yeah, disconnects will be a major complaint along with:
- no waypoints
- timer
- dps check / clearspeed meta
- bad rng (has to be on the list)

----

On a more serious note:
It looks like they are trying to add a sort of "daily endless dungeon", which isnt endless and its timed, but customizable and might allow some target farming. So I like the idea.

If this is well received and goes core, it could be easily expanded with new temple areas allowing more target farming. Might be really good :)

Im looking forward to it

As someone who had family involvement in the nazi era, I don’t really think it is our job to be proud or ashamed of the past.

"it wasn't me" works pretty well for me. not sure about others. and others, coming up with references, do state that they still have a problem with us having a nazi past.

and i'm not just someone, there is hardly anybody in germany who isn't affected. them saying "sorry, wan't us" isn't widely accepted, especially since we already joined forces with the americans to threaten russian borders (again).

though, nobody blames the loser if he's still bombing others. but that is too offtopic.

Who gives a fu** if its nazis, aztecs, indizan, monkeys.... I want loot and a LOT of it xD xD
If anything, the league is a tribute to the awesome civilization that were the Aztecs. It's all about perspective.

Some people just like to find problems where they're not. If we worried about people like that while creating, we won't go far.

They can all deal with their own insecurities and inner issues. I will be here enjoying the cool themed league :)

I think that's a dangerous stance to take. Perhaps why Nazism is on the rise in my country -- moral apathy or equivalence, take your pick.

We may have been guilty of holding the children accountable for the action of their parents, then realized it and let the pendulum swing too far the other direction to where we don't even consider what the parents did as a "shameful" resulting in said apathy.

Some acts clearly are shameful, and to be honest, shameful might be too nice a word.

Slight Tangent
That being said; if we were to consider life as some simple boolean function about being good, how many actually think we are the good guy in this storyline? Does one action like killing a fleeing citizen in Oriath constitute evil forever? (if this were real life, the answer would be clear)...Does the good we do outweigh the evil? Imagine a leader who brought laws to protect animals, that seems like a good thing -- until you learn that cast of characters includes Hitler. Protesting the Westboro Church seems like a good thing because they are awful people (my opinion). Then you realize one group who also did that was the KKK.

Are we the good guys in Wraeclast?

Long winded way to say that moving on is healthy; but forgetting or indifference to the egregious sins of the past is dangerous.

Thanks for all the fish!
