Do you even remember than the whole premium tabs existence is based on a third party known as poe.trade ? Without GGG would have never made them LOL

Agreed. This is unprofessional at best, idiotic at worst. I can understand that the day-to-day interaction with players is easier in Reddit. But official "updates" on important stuff, rules and whatnot should ALWAYS be posted here on the forums. Always.

The threshold for pushing out "news" on the news section should be "lighter". Hell, just push out notifications with links to Reddit if you're hellbent on using it. Should be very easy to write a script, making it automatic. Something like this:

i actually liked ggg explaining their decisions and i would be really sad if they just revert to announcing stuff like other companies do.

I love this comment. Absolutely perfectly sums up everything that is wrong with things today, not only in gaming but also in society.


It is deemed to be BAD if anyone is better than anyone else for any reason; especially the ability to do research, think for themselves, and utilise the tools that are out there to simplify their lifestyles.


Some PC snowflake somewhere might get upset because they weren't smart enough to learn to read forums, or read reddit, or Google methods to make their lab running more convenient. So, we can't have them missing out due to their lack of intellect on something that isn't even game breaking because they may get sad and have their feelings hurt.

However... It's perfectly fine for people to use auto log out scripts, for us to have to put up with bots running around everywhere price rigging the economy, and to not have any automated method of selling that prevents non-sales and price rigging of the economy in general...
Chris really needs to actually have a look at what is going on in this game these days, instead of knee jerk daft reactionary decisions like this one. There are far, far, bigger fish to fry than preventing some snowflakes from being upset.
