This is the selective garbage I'm used to with GGG.

I'm with you I_NO... that kind of shit triggers me. There are so many things in this game that few people use/know and others don't to gain massive advantages.

I don't like his reasoning either... he should just come out and say it: "I consider this a cheat so we're going to patch it out". The "fairness" issue is what he's thinking justifies his position, but it really doesn't. It's not a fair game for many different reasons, some of which he wholeheartedly endorses (trade). It's his baby though. If he calls it a cheat, it is... and it will be patched out. Throw a seal at him.

Sometimes it is best to not give a reason at all. This is one example.

They didnt ban the compass.... they are just going to remove a particular line from the log file....

It should be working 100% as it was before this last update.

I think it would be a good idea if GGG provide an official list of APPROVED tools, then display it directly ingame ( Why not in tutorial ).

Because for now, as you may know lot of players are already in a very unfair situation.
The one where they discover trading or any tool related to it, the day they start to go trought forum, reddit - Likely never happen for a lot of them.
Would be great for GGG aswell, and boost premium tab sales;
