It's hard to believe. Do you have full atlas opened? Did you try to expand Elder influence towards high-tier maps?

For me he almost always spawned on high-tier-maps, probably you only need enough T13-15 maps connected to each other to have space for him and his guardians.

But as being said, yes, it's possible to buy fragments.

My Atlas is fully unlocked (~unlucked?), sure. And yes, when shooting for Elder 15, I certainly do expand him there, I know you did not mean any harm, but I am immenselly butthurt, so excuse my snarkiness. I abandoned 40/40 for this very reason. I even stopped playing before this ... exploit went known. Now I am angry I could not exploit it myself :)

And, from what I can tell, I am not the only one butthurt by 15/15 Elder "RNG festival"

Anyone else having "fun" with this mechanic again during flashback?

Just a reminder that this will keep happening every league if nothing changes.

I personally dropped this shit in any future league or events until this 'RNG festival of using known exploits' will be changed to real 'system'. Right now for me this boss just not exist.

Getting all your maps shaped is enough cancerous chores for me, i used to really enjoy the atlas but now it's just a series of chores you have to get out of the way before you can sustain.

yeah...I not play Harbinger league but now in Flashback at lvl 75 and after dont know about 150 harbingers I have 7 harbinger shards...So how I can do a beachhead in league (not event) when I must pay 5 chaos per zana mod,where I have only 3 harbingers - spend fortune for getting single Horizon orb which do nothing propably with my map with my luck...This what we have now in flashback should be at every league but not as event but as a part of league - from beggining to the end especially when harbinger mod is available after zana lvl8 what exclude half of league to get it...And zana mods should stay in standard only or should cost 1 chaos - all of them.Around 150 harbingers and 7 horizon shards - it sucks...

Yeah. This challenge was awful. Several challenges this league were awful.

This is such a bullshit design i get triggered everytime i think about it.

It's a chore and its awful. Totaly unnecesarry too. The fight itself should be a challange instead of challange beeing the RNG of gettign to uber elder.
