Let me FUCKING PLAY YOU STUPID GAME.

Game hobbyists from my era didn't even bat an eye on spending $3000+ every three years on a new rig. Money was worth more back then too. Seems odd to me that this generation thinks that spending $1000 on a machine is too much.

" Because "this generation" works at McDonalds and is usually consisting of broke college students. I saved up the money for my own gaming PC with extreme effort and barely made it working a 10hr job every weekday. But we can't put blame on the gamers trying to enjoy the game -- we have to put the blame on the lack of optimization that was done on an extreme budget during 2008. That's why this game has so many issues, and why a new league is running an extreme performance risk for users and GGG. "Bonus points if it is Scion/Witch because they have nice knees. Ranger has ugly knees and other characters are men so playing them would be homoerotic." - CAKE, 10/20/21

" Pebcak - wherever I've seen someone complaining excessively about gaming performance, that's always been the case. I built my current machine like 2-3 years ago for about 300. Spent around 100 for a video card pgrade. When my lockstep starts to stutter, its not the machine, but the shared bandwidth getting split by multiple users with heavy usage. I run max native res 1440x900 (I bought the monitor years ago for a previous build) and with dynamic res it drops video quality as needed to help maintain framerates. You don't need to spend a lot, but you do need to have reasonable expectations. In '94 or '96 I had a p2 400 build cost 3000 and that was with high end stuff for the time. The only reason I ever bothered to learn PC hardware was for gaming - seems people these days are just too lazy. P.S. If you think you need SSD, you really need to re-evaluate your bottlenecks. Not only are they actually pretty reasonable in price but they aren't miracle workers either. I can't even remember what Sata my 500gb is at and when I did run ide or eide hds - they weren't the issue. Yep, totally over league play. Last edited by SeCKSEgai#6175 on Apr 1, 2018, 2:55:19 PM

" Game hobbyists. What. Old man has completely lost it. Games were never made for those $3000+ riggers and they still aren't. Games were originally made for 10 - 16 year old brats who played on their parents dogshit work computers and they still are. If anything, the opposite has happened what you just claimed. No need to delude yourself and others. My commputer cost me over $800 in my country and it's not like I can rationalise spending more then that on my hobby when I have other monetary responsibilities.

" no youre wrong. i played back then also and your average pc was like $2k, you needed $3k+ for a decent gaming rig. mine was a fuckin $5k dell back then. (USD) the kids youre talking about would play the $100-$300 consoles their parents bought for them. Last edited by awave#0377 on Apr 1, 2018, 3:20:25 PM

Regarding the hardware required: does your system meet the requirements set for PoE by GGG? If so, you should be able to play the game bug free. Some lag and long loading times should be acceptable, but not crashes.
Here's what it says on steam: ----------------------------- OS: Windows XP SP3/Vista/Windows 7/8 Processor: x86-compatible 1.4GHz or faster processor Memory: 2 GB RAM Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® 7800 GT or ATI Radeon™ X1950 Pro or better DirectX: Version 9.0c Network: Broadband Internet connection Storage: 5 GB available space People who find this game on steam will look at this. If this is not accurate, it should be changed. Did you try turning it off and on again?
