Need Increase drop rate % of items/maps/chaos orbs etc remove XP penalty
With the current low population on Xbox there is a huge shortage of items necessary to progress further into the game after finishing the game story mode.
Ill explain this game relies heavily on the dynamics of items for character progression , on the PC version of POE there is a good dynamics in regards to item availability since the game population is high and very active so you can easily find what you looking for on POE trade, now cross over to Xbox we have a very low population and adding the fact most of the player base on Xbox are casual console players, item availability for character progression is extremely limited, these players are not comparable to PC players in term of time invested into the game. Adding lack of chat + parties , bad auction house etc it just does not get better. We need to take into account console players audience are mainly non MMO or ARPG oriented they more oriented to shooters and action genre. Its extremely unlikely this will change soon. Xbox version of the game needs a rework in term of rewards,why i say this is because we have to take into consideration that the game needs more people but the current system is actually driving away new players its too overwhelming due to the lack of item availability. How you expect new fresh blood to stick to the game after finishing the story only to find out the current system overpowers them by a factor of 10. In my understanding this game was ported to Xbox without taking into account console = X not PC there is just too many factors difference between the 2 in term of gameplay and players. An ideal solution would be -% Increase drop rate and rewards better items% -% Increase drop rates of orbs -Introduce a daily login rewards entice new players to play the game -Remove XP penalty -Remove the annoying Forsaken Masters grind quest and just make them available after finishing the story mode without having to level them up. I’ve come to similar conclusions of increasing drop %, Or better reward system in general. I would spend a lot more time making builds if I had decent access to gearing. Instead it’s grind the chaos recipe to maybe afford a piece of gear so slowly, that it doesn’t make it worthwhile to take on more than 2 builds each league. You would think PoE would want to promote its pallete of skills to create fresh alternate builds, but realistically the playerbase will move on from boredom due to lack of gearing available/gated behind expensive economy.
I’d like GGG to acknowledge that standard will not suffer from an influx of gear, because most play league exclusively. I think having to start fresh each league is more reason to let gear drop more- let us horde loads of gear to experiment with non-meta builds. Most uniques dropping are garbage to me 90% of the time anyways. Standard’s economy should never matter, ever. Time invested never comes close to time rewarded on this port from PC for many reasons. Please change something or reveal some developmental thoughts in the pipeline to addressing these desparities. |

" You can't be serious right? lol. This just defeats the purpose of the game. If you would like your stuff instantly, you should check out a game called Diablo 3. You can literally get gear within 3 days. Also, you can kill shaper with gear that isn't expensive at all. We're a week into the new league and I've killed shaper already with the same gear i've been running with since t8 pretty much. You are making the game hard for you when you're trying to make an expensive build as your first character in a new league. The idea is to make a good STARTING character. As for the guy saying standard prices should never matter, you are absolutely wrong. Items still cost money in standard because people PLAY standard over new leagues. Or whats your plan to make me love attlefield 1 ?, i absolutely enjoyed battlefield 3 on pc, and now i dont like battlefield 1 on xbox because i cant fucking aim on consol. " We don't need to kill the soul of the game, we do need to account for the fact that the game is very dependent on the economy of the PC and the economy on the XBox is vastly different. Most people are going to get turned off of a game where they review builds that are supposed to be "starter builds" that rely on "cheap items" that will cost you a couple weeks of farming to get on the XBox. Since trading is significantly harder here an increase in drops seems to make a lot of sense for the XBox. |

I also don't think that drop chance increase is a solution in any case. PoE is so complex and has so many different ways you can enjoy the game. I for example play since xbox start and have never killer shaper, never attempted, as it doesn't matter for me. I was more focused on speed clearing builds and trying out what works nicely on xbox and its limitations and fits to my playstyle. If clearing the endgame is your goal, play a build that can easily do it and not any fancy super duper build. I find for example any build that mostly relies on the flask without an elite controller not really viable. So yeah it takes some efford to find a build that suits you and the console limitations.
There are many ways they can try to improve the experience for us, but increasing the drop rate is the totally last resort as from that point, there is no turning back. If they would then fix movement skills, everyone gets more efficient, if they stop the crashes (when zoning) occurring in multiplayer people with play with supports and again get more efficient, and then see, ahh now we reduce the drop rate again to compensate, everyone will cry...With sextant blocking, nerv of biscos, they show already, they want to reduce it, but this only affected the top players anyway, not the mainstream player, so it was accepted. Let them first get this whole game round and rolling smoothly like on pc and then we will see how the economy will be. |

" Starter builds mean using rare items with maybe 1 unique that is EASY to obtain. You're looking at the wrong builds rofl. Increasing the drop rate will ruin the game and PC community would riot. Lose the idea. |
