No. It makes no sense - how can you sacrifice a dead animal? The whole point is to capture something alive.

I think GGG should decide on this one not reddit where the popular opinion will be the easy option.
I don't like interacting with the league mechanics , but i hate quests in games and not every league needs to be for me. I think we are seeing what chris once mentioned about the worry previous leagues with a lot of free loot would make the community usto all that free shit in leagues. I certainly don't want every league to be a perandus , and i do want this league tweaked maybe to make the achievements a little easier on people who don't like capturing every beast. In general though i think the league is fine , and no one expects the league totally redesigned at the drop of a hat. Whatever army I have, I'll lead against them...

" There is an easy answer to that... 90% of PoE players play shitty low damage builds because they are not better... they got absolutely no problems throwing the nets before the beasts die... so for ones the scrubs may benefit from a vote =P normally GGG aims everything at the top 1% =) |

I voted for yes and more common. (Or something that prevents the breakout chance for at least a full second).
While I don't like the idea of capturing dead mobs, I started playing Crit Flameblast totems, so I have roughly a 0% chance of capturing mobs, currently. This also brings back the topic of an "unsummon totem" bind, similar to Detonate Mines, as well as the need for the net throwing to be instant, rather than on mob connection. If I throw a trap at a full-life mob, even a single totem will kill it before it lands. I've moved to non-crit totems to rectify the issue, but with no luck. It feels really weak to be so heavily penalized for running an alpha damage build. That's not even to mention the topic of trying to target a mob like a Red bug queen in a fustercluck of other queens that are summoning. Just my $.02 |

Please don't make this vote win and lose.
Just the dead beast capturing net should work only for dead beast killed by summoner pets, totems and culling strike including slayers. Last edited by Pokopensuke#2806 on Mar 4, 2018, 8:32:32 PM

Why not just make Thaumaturgical Net have this mechanic? Right now they have no use because they only do 68 and above monsters while the tier 9 nets do 64 and above, so it's a bigger range.

no. please

Read that the patch's coming that will make the nets have an area and automatically select the most rare target, so that you wouldn't need to frantically click on the exact monster. That's been one of the most annoying things, and if that's dealt with, then i personally don't need a dead-capture mechanic.
While i still think the entire mechanic of consumable nets with long animations is fundamentally flawed, my vote here is no. |

No. But the net mechanics still need to be improved.
- It is too hard to understand if a net failed or not. - Cooldowns are not properly displayed. - Targeting a single mob is too hard. - A solution for summoners, totems etc. One solution could be to allow re-netting when a beast is about to break out and go into enraged. |

I voted yes but rare but i think i really want *no... but add a gem to capture mob if you kill it* or something
Trying to cap even low tier map mobs right now half the time i end up killing them cause theres to much stuff trying to hit me so i cant jerk around with nets (this is mostly for the rare harder mobs) Ideas: Allow the player to net a mob and the net just stays on the mob either till you capture it/you leave map/you die Make a capture gem that takes a gem slot that has culling strike 10% or even 20% kill (to make up for taking a gem slot) and as long as the capture gem is linked to your attack you will capture it when killing it |
