" I'd personally chose "NO, because I love clunky mechanics", but it's a close thing, because I also hate fun. But then we'd have 3 NO's and only 2 YES... How about "YES, because I am unable to vary my playstyle for a new league in the slightest but still want all the rewards." That would make it nice and fair again. If the capture mechanic is so shit, why not just play standard? Don't have to worry about killing the beasts with your roxxor deeps there. Last edited by NeroSeven#3957 on Mar 5, 2018, 11:18:42 AM

Yes? Only yes!
I categorically do not understand people who are missing the fact - it was, it is and I hope it will be the MOST action RPG, and this stupid mechanic with capture beasts in full fast-action hell on the monitor totally breaks the concept of the game. IGN: autokillON

" There's another league available right now, that doesn't have any beasts in it to slow you down, you know? |

Definitely NO !!!
GGG, please explore league mechanics courageously. Those mechanics should absolutely impact and alter the way we play PoE - including build choices made by players. Otherwise we would be bound to have one Breach derivative after another. |

" you should read first post, 2 yes will be sum up and the "yes, more rare" will be prioritized if no option reach 50% base player votes. |
|
" There is also another whole game, that was designed for kids who like Pokemon and other "fun" stuff. Here, let me give you a link: https://eu.diablo3.com/en/purchase |

If it enables more builds to participate in the league then absolutely yes. Doesnt hurt anyone. I dont understand why so many hate something they can completely ignore while it helps others.

I am against it, so no.
Let´s be clear, builds that have a high kill speed already are quit rewarding. so let´s say the beastiary league is for slower builds that are still fun to play, good and viable. But I agree there are some issues for cullers, so every build that either has culling strike by item or ascendancie node including slayer. I got two proposals for that: 1) give Items or assendancy nodes that give culling strikes, the hidden mod that they allow you to capture beast with higher health. E.g. when I need a monster to have 8 % health to be captured with a specific net, allow me to capture it with 18% with culling strike (or with 28% when I have the "bane of legend" node of the slayer) 2) Similar to the masterball in Pokemon, give us master nets (or other name). Those cannot be bought, vendored or crafted, only found. Their drop rate should be around those of devine or exalt orbs, so damn rare, but possible to find. And to make them not to easy wasted give them an autoaim mode for the highest tier beast nearby. |

Bashing on a high life, high regen, life leech (like, seriously, why do they all have high life and regen?) for multiple minutes is not fun. Knowing that if you throw your net early it will simply enrage the critter and it will heal a bit, so you can rinse/lather/repeat the last 30 seconds of the fight. Knowing that you foolishly decided to make culling strike a part of your build... or minions... and thus have to hope you hit the perfect window between where the beast is weak enough to next, but not weak enough to suddenly die. It all becomes increasingly not fun. God forbid you are playing Slayer and cull at 20% instead of 10. The window where it is weak enough to net before you cull it is that much harder to catch.
I don't like nets that capture dead critters, but I like some builds not being able to enjoy the league even less. Maybe don't make the nets break on a binary yes/no check. Have the nets weaken over time, relative to the critter's health, and check for breakage X per server tics. The longer it takes you to club the netted critter unconscious, the higher chance the critter breaks free. The all or nothing way they work now makes the league mechanic really un-fun for cullers, miners, and summoners (at least). I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly...
