I'm not capturing beasts right now because the crafting recipes are poor, and I find that the items I get are many levels below where I am at, meaning the items would often be downgrades if I used them. So slow and tedious to craft this way.

League needs a MAJOR shakeup, not just changing net mechanics.

It's not disregarding a class. It's only that with certain classes or ascendancy choices Content may be easier or harder. Think logically, in case of culling strike, you can't have both: Big AoE fast clearing and hunting down certain beasts at the same time.

It's up to you which choices you make, Exile, not up to the devs to mutilate the game for casual desires. Like I said once before, not every class/build is good for every content in the game, even without thinking of league mechanics. That's how it is and ever was; take it or leave it. ;)

League mechanics are not invalidating certain classes or builds, just certain classes or build combinations are not made for every content. That's how it was all the way, even without thinking about league mechanics at all.


As a blanket statement this maybe true, but I don't think it's in GGG's interests for their league's (which one could argue is their main content) main mechanic to be exclusive to a number class/build combinations.

In my opinion capturing corpses isn't really good fix but it's a quick one, so I voted yes. Currently targeting the right beast is extremely awkward for me at least and health thresholds I can see getting in my nerves once my gear kicks into, well gear. So what I really hope is make targeting something more eloquent and faster.

At the current state of beast capturing I personally don't see myself using the capturing mechanic through the whole of the league as it already feels tedious, and instead just going for the challenges. Hopefully it gets improved.


So you basically are saying you want to capture dead beasts cause its tedious to capture them with a net prior to killing? tbh i think 80% of the people complaining dont realize if they cant catch it at 20% HP they are using a weak net! no lets all just scream nerf and unfair cause my zombies kill them......and on top of all this if you aren't doing the league mechanic cause its tedious then let yourself out cause the question wasnt is it tedious they asked if its too hard to capture a living beast.

is it cuz you cant get to the mob or is your summons too spreadout.

If you want to be fast enough to never capture anything but the toughest of beast, that's your call.With the 3 second window even miners, totem users and summoners can capture beasts. The option to capture dead beasts destroys the whole league. Might as well add a unique 130 life leather belt with 50% elemental damage with attacks and a "Capture beasts on kill" mods on it and of course make an ES and spells version of the belt while we're at it.
