if your are thinking linking CoH to HoA,
no it doesn't cause curse to be applied, as overburn is not a hit. (more like a degen) Perm. Retired from this unforgiving land of the Exiles.

Hummm ok better... BUT
I don't get why you still have the "Gain 15% of you physical damage" still in there? 15% more on already strong skills like KB and GC, and nothing for pure elemental spells well... no thats not ok. Also why does it mechanicaly differ totaly against the other heralds? So, NO, go back and rethink this one please. |

" Why would you use a Scion Elementalist? When you can use the Elementalist, who is far superior? Cascade on Elementalist is at least 25% pen. Regardless of what Scion combo you can come up with, it doesn't get up to 25% pen. Not to mention the other nodes you can take from just being Elementalist. |

15% increased fire damage is for the HoA damage only.
38% more burning damage is for the HoA damage only. 12% more spell fire damage is both for the HoA and for the main spell(s). The duration tag means it's now officially supported by Swift Affliction and other duration-based modifying support gems, for added damage / less duration. N.B. Herald of Ash has had one change, the addition of 'x% More Spell Fire Damage', otherwise it remains the same as before.

" This used to be global so I would expect it to remain so. (It would also be weird if the local quality is phrased as 'fire' and the other local one as 'burning'.) " It is no longer restricted to attacks. No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Okie... I still don't get it why GGG limit the bonus to phys damage..
Im actually getting relly pissed about it... and thats not normal.... Take the concept from the other heralds. per quality: 0.75% increased xxx Damage Adds (nr) to (nr) xxx Damage to Spells Adds (nr) to (nr) xxx Damage to Attacks <Herald specific damage> Good concept and it works for everything, (the numbers could do with an adjustment but that is another issue) but no that wouldn't do.... Instead we only buff already bordeline broken skills like KB/GC and "normal" attacks. what???? Why are you deliberatly not allowing it to apply to pure fire spells like FB/FS/FT and so on? I don't get it. It's so unnecessary to artficially limit it this way. The only reason I can come up with is that it's a 100% afterthought connected to the Elementalist, aka an ugly quick fix. "woups our fancy new herald node doesn't work for fire" I must have missed something very important :( /me taking a break from thinking on this to cool off |
