In Content Update 3.2.0, the Herald of Ash Skill Gem will work on spells.


Soooo ... at a quick glance,

Scion Elementalist Trickster running bladevortex / bladefall / EK / Shockwave totem?

I mean, yeah, this does seem like a really hacky fix. In all honestly, it just makes HoA amazing for phys-to-fire spell builds, decent for fire spells, and now actually least useful for phys attacks (well, least useful for anything that actually gets use out of it).

not to be a negative nancy but it seems like 15% of physical ATTACK dam conversion and then 15% more spell dam would avoid this being used exclusively for phys conversion spells..

That would be a nerf to phys spells that don't heavily convert to fire though.

That part has always been there, it works only on the burn caused by HoA itself that requires killing an enemy with an attack. Well, I don't know what would happen if you'd kill something with an attack while also having RF on you. But that's definitely not what you do with RF anyway.
