They can... be most don't no :p i guess it depends how seriously your taking it but in my experience the builds i've gone over generally don't put that much investment into it.
I absolutely love skeleton+zombie changes! Definitely gonna make a skelly-zombie summoner this league.

Unfortunately, everytime you cast skellies, so you are not pushing the map... its slow. You dont even need skellies to single target. Offerings where onlh good thing about necro, and now they all nerfed cus of bone..

So what? We got +2 zombies and a buffed skelly option which no one but 1 build uses, while we get a global reduction in our only real defence, spirit and bone, even the speed since we all run fucking Ullr since release. FOR EVERY BUILD!

You get that? 6+ Years 90% of Summoners have had the same boots...

Necro has always been a mess, and it still is.
Necro defences have always been a mess, and now is again.

Nerf bone or block or somthing why take it out on necro and all the other options.

Never heard of Dark Pact, hm? Since Zerkers will never ever play Dark Pact again, I tried to use it in its "intentional" way this league with Skelly-Totem and Dual Apeps. Was a blast with descent clear speed and strong boss killing capabilities.
With those buffs to Skellies and zombies, it gets even better for my DP-Build.

I forgot that skill existed because I didn't see it as a 'summoner' playstyle. It could even be used without minions too.

If that damage node was used in dark pact witch builds (are there any meta?) then sure, I guess it's good.. but I see summoners as having their minions do all the killing while they just debuff enemies.

Maybe it's just me; but I never saw "corpse explosion" type stuff to be an attractive playstyle in any diablo-like game.

Skeletons don't teleport to you with convocation. They don't follow you at all. They're just mindless, slow moving minions that are "cast and forget" at every pack, similar to SRS.

Unless some rework with skeletons is coming, I don't see why anyone would want to play them when it's just so slow and annoying to keep casting them at every mob pack. Compare them to specters which obliterate every pack and you can run around endlessly.. night and day difference in clear speed and ease of play.

But at least skeleton builds can do Vorici missions, I guess..

But the offering skill node, wow, completely destroys the usability of it for practically all summoners, but especially for those that use Necromanic Aegis. Combining it with the damage node does nothing, summoners don't do the damage. Regardless, playing summoner once was enough to never want to play it again.

I will rip apart uber atziri, izaro, shaper and elder with my necromancer in pokemon league. Do not give advice about the necromancer as clearly you dont play the class. Just to prove it ill kill them all with the retarded zombie AI. Just because i can. Do not underestimate the power of the necromancer. She is a beast.

Just to direct it to this post, since the necro is mostly about minions... but GGG, could we please get a video showing a minion build capturing(netting) a monster for bestiary league in a low level area?

Like some other players have posted in other topics, I too am concerned minions kill everything too fast to capture anything. Especially when the minions are maxed out and higher level, which both happens while leveling and when getting to maps.
