Never used block on my self build necro, mine was always a CI allrounder with usually around 10k ES(around 7k after the cruel ES nerfs).

SSF?? ... Don't you mean "solo self captured" in this case? :P
So has anyone here saying OMG ZOMBIES R SO BUFFED!!1!11 realized that they have just been brutally nerfed for any build other than pure zombie summoner (which is trash with their ai). Previously, you picked up flesh binder on the way to spectre node, so you had the option to run zombies for phys damage reduction and meatshields, but now you have to sacrifice a path to pick up that node, either sacrifices, aura node (which was already gutted for any LL/aura based summoner thanks to supports defining lvl100 first week nolife meta), or your specialization node (spectres/skeles/srs duration&damage). This means you lose all phys mitigation as a classic zomb/spectremancer, which was already hurt by loss of offerings. The convocation cooldown speed is obviously nice, and summoners are in a way more powerful place than when I started playing them forever ago, but the actual intelligence and scaleability that existed in old summoner build designs as opposed to just being stupidly strong now is gone, and necro is now just being forced into taking a specific set of nodes, maybe grabbing 2 pieces of specific gear, and then fucking the shaper back into oblivion while half afk.
There's no powercreep here. Creep implies it's slow and could be overlooked, this is a full out sprint.

Unless some rework with skeletons is coming, I don't see why anyone would want to play them when it's just so slow and annoying to keep casting them at every mob pack. Compare them to specters which obliterate every pack and you can run around endlessly.. night and day difference in clear speed and ease of play.

But at least skeleton builds can do Vorici missions, I guess..

Like some other players have posted in other topics, I too am concerned minions kill everything too fast to capture anything. Especially when the minions are maxed out and higher level, which both happens while leveling and when getting to maps.

How about skels with Queen's Decree? There's a *lot* of minion speed nodes there, and on the tree. Coupled with +100% minion speed Decree means even skels will zip around everywhere. And then there's Dark Pact chaining into a squad of fast moving skels mobbing a pack or a single target...


As for the poison cloud... no mention of it's base duration, or if it can be affected by duration nodes or modified by DoT.

The more I look at it, the more I absolutely hate and loathe 'Invoker'. It's just a horrible horrible ascendancy. It's effects are basically a slightly dialed up 'Lord of the Dead' Notable, but with some minion regen and faster convocation use rather then increased minion caps. Ascendancies that are just baaarely stronger then notables on the passive tree are lame.

But it's not just that it's bad, it's mandatory bad. It's literally impossible to spend 8 ascendancy points in the necro tree without taking it. You can't avoid it, it's a horrible node and you just have to take it. It feels like you just get taxed an ascendancy for choosing necromancer.

You should be able to easily shield charge ahead of your minions, at least enough to use an ability on a rare/uniques before it instantly explodes.
