Revamped Ascendancy Class Reveal: Necromancer
Going to miss all that poison clouds build up by my Raging Spirits, but at least they will get to last longer now. The offering nerf to player is a bit sad since I like getting the movement speed off from Flesh Offering. Hell, I am going to miss the extra Desecrate corpses I was able to pull up just so I can get a bit more out of the bonuses I gained from this ascendancy class.
Overall, I think my Raging Spirits lasting longer and dealing more damage is worth the trade off. Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game.

Convocation change should've come ages ago, as did the ability to get to the specter node without throwing away 2 ascendancy points.
But the offering skill node, wow, completely destroys the usability of it for practically all summoners, but especially for those that use Necromanic Aegis. Combining it with the damage node does nothing, summoners don't do the damage. It was strictly taken to increase our survivability (mainly through block via bone offering), something many builds very much needed due to near nonexistent physical mitigation. Regardless, playing summoner once was enough to never want to play it again. Until the minion AI is vastly improved, I wouldn't recommend anyone play a summoner unless it's SRS, where the AI doesn't matter as much.. but GL enjoying spamming your summon skill 24/7. I don't mean to sound rude, but I can't help the way people interpret my words. Last edited by DAOWAce#0876 on Feb 26, 2018, 5:58:57 PM

Well, offering nerf was expected.
Not sure I like the fact that 100% of every Necromancer build has a completely mandatory ascendancy, since there are only 3 ascendancies you can take without going Invoker. This is really more of a philisophical dislike of being denied choice then a practical one, since realistically most ascendancies have a must-buy that everyone takes anyhow. The zombie buffs are nice. I'm a bit disapointed the Skeleton ascendancy path does so very little for skeleton mage builds. THe movement speed does very little for skele mages, and the accuracy does litterally nothing at all. Would be nice if it offered Skele mages resist penetration, since that's a royal PITA of that build (Can't get it from normal passive sources, Support gems are useless cuz they are elemental-specific while mages get randomly generated from all 3 elements, and curses have so little impact on the mobs you most need resist penetration for). Half effectiveness on offerings, saw that one coming miles away. Wonder what they will do to inquisitor :S

(Wipes sweat off brow)
Looks like Spectres have survived... at least regarding the ascendancy changes. 50% reduced effectiveness of offerings on ME I can deal with it. (knocks wood) Hopefully no nerfs announced to Spectres in the coming patch notes. "The key to winning any fight is simply staying alive." Last edited by WARPAINTER#1787 on Feb 26, 2018, 6:44:26 PM
