[3.1] [3.2] Glacial Cascade Mine Chaos Conv (cheap 2-3 ex ) Shaper Deathless at lv 87

Hello guys ,

This is my build and the first time for me to writte a build guide.
English is not my firt language sorry.

Edit at the 28 february:
[3.2]So, what s going on? New saboteur Ascendacy !

-We re going to take the new Bomb specialist, Demolition specialist then We ll take the perfect crime node (for the trap boost) and the very very strong New born in the shadow.

The new Born in the Shadow is really strong with Blind Aura , almost perma Blind and 10 % less damage taken . Really good defensive option!!!

Why no Pyromaniac ?
I m Hybrid ,so life regen is not important

Why no Explosives Expert?
this node lost the most important bonus, extra fire dmg and that will be the only nerf for this build (at this moment, maybe GC will be nerfed)
20% area dmg (no need because we can still have 96% inc dmg by traps),Inc area and Elemental penetration is not important.

CONCLUSION:
A little nerf ( no extra fire damage ) but a good Defensive Buff.

So, with the new trap duration (4s) , Perfect crime nodes is not required anymore,but you can still use it with increased duration or skip it for vaal lighting trap.

If you re not taking prefect crime , maybe Pyromaniac is good for mana reduction and other little bonus.

Not a big nerf :)


Concept:
Why chaos conversion?
-Cheaper than Pure cold ( really cheaper)
-No need Penetration gem
-and a lot of good bonus ( wither,Eber unification, new curse despair,atziri promise)

How?
[spoiler]Glacial cascade is phys to 60% cold
with 2 jewels long winter -100% cold
with 2 pyre -80% fire
with 2 consumning dark -60% chaos
My gear:

-At first my weapons

Fire to Chaos conversion
Culling strike is not necessary but its affordable.

-Armor:
Because Im hybrid life and ES , Im using this.

-Buy 7 cards the ethereal ( and wait to be level 80 for exchange it to the seller)= Vaal regalia 6 link normal for 28 chaos around.


-after use Defeaning essence of Woee on it ( 5c for 1 ) and pray for a decent roll. I used 28 c and 4 essence for mine.

Other gears :
-

Of course needed, Cold to Fire conversion
1 c perfect roll each

Perfect for this build and cheap 5 c around
Void gaze is triggered when you cast something or detonate mine.
and give a debuff of -10% chaos resist.

I use this for mana regen , with clarity I have 150 mana regen per second ( 1 chaos)

1 chaos
Very nice gloves , when you put 11 mine your crit chance grows for 2 sec.
-Im at 25 % crit chance and with this buff Im at 36% crit chance without diamond flask and power charges .
-Life and ES

Rustic sash is better for DPS but any belt is good , just need strenght and a lot of resist.
Normal Boots hybrid with moove speed and resist.

-Flask

this is my agressive set up :
-Taste of hate is not important and I killed shaper without it.( but is perfect for this build everybody knows it ;)
-Atziri promise give the best boost for this build because the physical and the elemental bonus are applied on Glacial cascade .

Jewel:
the long winter X 2

Gems set up and explanations.

Glacial cascade-Remote mine-Minefield-Trap and Mine Dmg-Elemental Focus-Inc or Concentrated effect.

*On Eber s Unification:
Inc duration
Inc Aoe
Despair
Arcane Surge

This is a good combo , socketed gem applies to void gaze , so Inc aoe and duration apply to void gaze,despair and arcane surge.
One button for despair,void gaze and arcane surge ( -39% resist chaos and 16% more spell damage)

*Movement skill:
the classic Whirling Blades+Faster A+Fortify
and Flame dash for gaps

Because I don t like WB and Shield charge as a moov skill , I crafted additionnal moov speed on my quicksilver and my diamond flask.

*Combo wither (classic) : ST-Wither-Faster casting-Inc duration

*Auras: Clarity and Hatred

*and the last set up: Lightning trap on cluster traps and multiple traps.

Why?
-with perfect crime (Saboteur node) you gain 8% increased damage for each trap, so with this set up you can set 12 traps ( put them far to the fight for avoid to be triggered by ennemies).

12 trap * 8% : 96% inc damage , its really a big boost , better than golems or Vaal Lightning trap and you can use this at every moment.


LEVELLING:

2 options:

the first:
Play with blade vortex until you have every mines node like Clever Construction and Volatile mines + 2 mines nodes in Ascendacy ( It will be smoother!) and change to GC mine at lvl 53 for 2X Consumming the Dark , 2X The Long winter jewels and 2X Pyre.
(This is for me the best option , one Lifesprig with BV-Spell Echo or FC-Controlled Dest and its enough until lv 53)

the Second:
Is to reach Clever Construction and the level 28 with Blade vortex then change for GC mine.
Use the +1 Cold gem recipe on a wand and insert GC-remote mine-Minefield.

After, reach the volatiles mines node,of course you have to take several life and ES node on the road.
Then, take the jewel point above Blood Drinker and the jewel point below Melding.

At this moment , your GC is full elemental conversion.
You can continue to take some life nodes and somes critical nodes(Blast cascade).
at the level 53 , equip Consumming and Pyre.






I forgot just one thing , Im using only one non unique jewel (a god tier for this build)

but you can use another with those properties:
-Area dmg
-Mine dmg
-Fire dmg
-Ice dmg
-Chaos dmg
-Crit Multi or Crit chance
-Physical dmg

why no Golem?

and more important:

use laviangas Spirit .. u will do about 100% more dps in this fight because u lack mana.
if u cant afford it .. use vaal clarity with inc. Duration .. u will see it will be much better.

3. vaal lightning trap should reay boost ur damage
4. as ur Amulette try yokes .. it has res, und a bunch of damage (even ist not in tooltip)

ist about 8C and u will see the difference .. especialy on shaper

With lavianga you ll loose a dps flask so I m not sure if you ll gain so many dps.
I can t use vaal gem or golem because there is a lack of gemms slot.

I tried different set up with an agressive ammulet and a mana flask.
and for me , this set up has a good balance between a confortable playstyle and aggresive playstyle.

Because I hate to use mana flask and vaal clarity (not enough for multiples stages boss like shaper),I use this atziri foible, you lose a dps ammy but you gain a dps flask .
and for example a taste of hate ,diamond flask or atziri promise will give more Dps than a
-Crit mul ,Crit chance and spell damage ammulet ( I tested it)

So its a different way but ty for your feedback.
