ranger: 7% mov speed
what? Duelist/marauder/shadow -> Ok, looks good Ranger 7% mov speed / Witch mana regen ( what ) / Scion +25 status ) -> wtf My end, it justifies my means,
All I ever do is delay, My every attempt to evade, The end of the road And my end.... |

" We will see. But anyways, we should assume the worst case scenario (only one bonus) unless proven otherwise (tested ingame). Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks |

" Unless the wording suggests otherwise, I'd be genuinely surprised if it was only one bonus because there's nothing in there to indicate it. The part I'm less sure about is that free class start from Scion, and that depends on how loosely they interpret 'skill tree'. If it means 'all your connected points' then it won't work, and if it means 'all allocated points' then it will, I can see them going either way and wouldn't have any good arguments to complain however it turns out. " I assume it's just coded to activate the corresponding modifier when either of the two starting nodes per class are allocated.(in scions case one of six) This seems like a jewel aimed to enhance scion while still being useful for other classes, i'd be baffled if it didn't function with the scion "start from X class" ascendancy option. It's not "that" powerful to begin with and the buffs are not very "generalist centered" limiting most builds to only three usable buffs and not always the three starting sections next to one another on the passive tree. A chaos/DoT build for example can only realistically utilize marauder/ranger/witch. Which is unrewarding to say the least. I don't see this as a 'build around it' but more like slightely adapt a build to it.Still it doesn't seem all that special other than pushing the sstats just a little farther.

Wow, that there is a new major reason to play Scion. The benefits to other classes are kinda underwhelming, seeing as you have to spend at least 2-3 points to grab a socket for this jewel. Especially the Witch (come on, that's all she gets? really? no way anybody is wasting even 2 points to get that). But Scion will LOVE this jewel.

Love the AoE addition to Marauder. Might be fun to use as a cyclone slayer.

This jewel is pretty good. Alas, my planned hierophant can't really justify a jewel slot for just 5 elemental pen even if it's with .5% mana regen should I go into Witch (I'm looking at up to 77 if I end up using a Wise Oak) but there are some interesting combos, and not just for scions.
The Mara's AoE seems weak to me, 15% AoE doesn't do much the way it's currently set up (Esp. if you're running the support that does more than three times that). Before the nerf it'd have been freaking huge though. Last edited by rottenvenetic#4950 on Dec 4, 2017, 2:00:38 PM
