Have you spend even a minute reading what this whole "uber-uber lab" idea is about?
Nobody is asking for 5th super hard lab everybody must do just to complete your build.
It would work same way as shaper and uber atziri. Only most dedicated players (in this scenario lab lovers, hardcore players and whatever) would complete and farm this lab. There would be NOTHING gated here. No extra power nor anything build changing, just like it is currently with shaper/atziri.


Got it, still not a good idea in my opinion. "Overpowered Izaro" sounds bad. More and more labs again? We can create something new.

It would be a lot better to add a new "Atziri" in the game instead of creating a uber uber lab.

It's being a while we don't have a patch with a "Atziri boss" to farm in end game. We had, after atziri, the council bosses from prophecy what is really not hard, and Shaper, from atlas expansion.

Now we have Elder, maybe next patch can we have something else. But, see: something new, new boss, new mechanics, new maps... no more labs or traps or izaro, he's done! :P

If I'm never forced to go in, well, I hope they make a nightmarish hellscape with traps that spawns trap labyrinths in an endless no-savepoint cycle, with random additional lag on top of the lag, invisible monsters outside of circles you have to guess, BLAMPTHwhateverlettersmoreyouhave, additional random whispers of people that want to overpay for whatever you have listed that go away the moment you get out, maybe a little extra client crash here and there (also use updates and patches for this please), freely roaming Argusses and random spawning Kitavas all the way up to a 1 in 10000 chance to even get an enchant (any other roll is back to the start - not even death) for you guys :)


Just don't make it mandatory.

Labyrinth Balance
Added a new Darkshrine effect that can only be found in the Eternal Labyrinth.
Changed the requirements for some chests to appear. In general, chests should feel more rewarding and better suited for their level and difficulty.
Increased the total amount of items found on average from Silver Chests.
The helmet enchantment which grants additional projectiles for Barrage has been removed from the Merciless Labyrinth. The Eternal Labyrinth Barrage enchantment now grants one additional projectile (down from 2).

As a labyrinth, I would be amused if walls shifted every 60 seconds. Or, at least, if the lab started with no through path and those switches actually did something.

Well we had that on release... just without any switches to open paths :P

Overall I doubt the Lab will see massiv changes for some time. Atziri is basically in the same state since her release. Putting effort into those side activities is hardly worth the effort. You could always make new side activities which will be better received that making changes to things that are already in the game, because new things are better to sell than changes to old things (that is why a lot of new bridges get build, but hardly anyone cares about maintaining the existing ones).

But if the time investment would be worth it, why not try to perfect for once the existing content?

As I said before, it's long past time for GGG to lean a lot more on the "quality instead of quantity" mantra...

So yes, I would enjoy more a revamp to existing systems - masters, "Labyrinth", Atziri etc. - instead of just adding content for the sake of "moar shinny NEW stuff"...

There are those subtle, yet impactful differences that do account for improving your perception regarding a game, and boosting it from just GREAT, to THE GREATEST, and PoE needs that right now...
PSS: Our almighty TencentGGG overlords are very scrupulous regarding criticizing their abilities to take proper decisions and consider everything "needlessly harsh and condescending"...

Good to know "free speech" doesn't apply in any form or manner on the forums these days...
