And frankly, you're being incredibly pissy and judgmental (about what I've spent on the game and how I choose to think about it) for someone who's clearly spent a heck of a lot more on the game than I have.

What you have spent/will spend is none of my business and doesn't interest me, nor is it of any significance.

Don't know what gave you the impression I was being judgmental or pissy. I misunderstood your phrasing of that joke, as you put it.

I'm sure there's an LED dimly glowing somewhere that I can think of as being kept on by me. :D

If one in every thousand Mystery boxes sold held a HH, would they be overpriced? Would GGG sell more of them than they do now? Would that be a "greedy" move? How many would you buy?

I'm trying to figure out what the point of this post is but for the life of me it just won't come.

If the moon was made of cheese would SpaceX be worth crowdfunding? Would Elon Musk sell more cars? How much would you give?
The conversation is all about greed and making money and overpriced mtx and worthless mystery boxes. The answer usually lies in what a person values. As I posted earlier, it costs me about $0.14 per hour to play POE. I consider that very inexpensive, but great entertainment. for some mtxs are a great value: they get cosmetics and can support new content. Changing the mix of what one can get changes the value to players.

If you forget about whether giving HH away in mystery boxes is going full EA and focus on how it would change player behavior, then what would happen?

Lots of things would immediately happen. People would go nuts buying them. People would accuse GGG of selling out. HH prices in trade would change. Imagine what would be posted here? Would players quit? Would the folks who got one play more? Would player satisfaction improve? How much money would GGG make? Would they put that to good use? What if all the money collected from chancing HH in Mystery Boxes went to upgrading servers and resolving technical problems? What if all the money went to shareholders?

What if instead, HH was given as a race prize? such that it was pretty easy to win? That purpose would probably be to increase race participation. Is that greedy? Or does the greed have to involve money? What if Chris is planning to sell the company and increases in race participation would increase the price he could ask? Would that make it greedy?

HH is an in demand item because it is hard to get and most people perceive that it would be fun to have and use. What if GGG decided to improve everyone's fun and sold it during the month of December for $10. would that be greedy? Is that pay to win? Is it a way to raise capital?

Game resources are assets to GGG. They should freely use those resources to to pursue company goals. Being creative in that effort is important.

plus its not a fair fight, you already know my weakness, pinapple pizza- its my kryptonite

if ingested it can be fatal to we overfed long haired leaping Gnomes, which is strange because most pizza is like senzu beans to us

Well, I do love pineapple and ham on a thick crust pizza. I'd even add it to a veggie.
