If the MTXs are overpriced, folks would not buy them (or at least frequently enough to keep the lights on) and GGG would lower prices accordingly.
There certainly is a juggling act that they play because make them too cheap and then everyone has it, making it less desirable (for some) and driving down demand resulting in a net loss. As far as I'm concerned, I only care that GGG prices them appropriately -- if they could sell one MTX for $5M and 99.999999% of of us would never have an MTX but the game stays on for all us to play then great. Afterall, we're just talking about pixels that look different (except tabs; they should consider increasing the number of free tabs for newcomers) EDIT: Yeah, this is probably a troll thread but who cares. The fire and brimstone tone of the original post made me laugh so figured it was worth a response as a result :) Thanks for all the fish! Last edited by Nubatron#4333 on Nov 30, 2017, 7:36:11 AM

Looking at my supporter packs, I have spent roughly 210 USD on this game over 5 years. Looking at the amount of content they've added since closed beta, I'd say that's easily worth it.
What a lot of people don't seem to account for is that money going to GGG is being spent on improving the game. Just look at Grim Dawn. Stuck in an old payment model means they're stuck in getting occasional windfalls through expansions, rather than a constant influx of money via supporter packs, where wealthy players are incentivised to spend large sums on money that will (or at least should) funnel back into improving the game. This is why, in my opinion, Blizzard and Crate will never be able to compete with GGG. I'm happy there's a company willing to spend so much time on maintaining and updating a true masterpiece of the aRPG genre, and I'm happy to pay them well for doing so. |

they didnt make the game because they were disappointed with the new diablo, they were making this game before diablo 3 was even announced.
They owe it to all of us who put time into the game to make enough money to keep the game going, keep the servers running etc. They owe it to their staff to keep their wages and their jobs secure. We live in a capitalist world, grow up and deal with it. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" One optional feature of game A is relatively similar to a theoretically optional feature of game B, while the games remain radically different in all other respects, therefore developer of game A is exactly equivalent to developer of game B. My brain literally hurts when people fail this monumentally at basic logic. I've seen your other posts, my dude, I know you are smarter than this. Love or hate GGG's very mild example of loot boxes, you're calling an apple an orange here because they both grow on trees. |

" GGG publishes a game where you fight zombies. EA publishes a game where you fight zombies. GGG = EA. Don't deny it. |

" I agree for the loot box to be retarded there would have to be some measure of baseline loot box intelligence but this is something we do not have I dont see any any key!
