Same here, after switched to DX9, fonts errors started to popup.

Somehow it fixed for me:
Run VLC Player if installed Reboot your PC Game works. seems like codec failed before, please reply if works. Last edited by icecore2#2562 on May 3, 2018, 2:13:09 AM

Same error. Rebooting usually solves it... but super annoying. Can start the game fine. Play fine. Close the game and do other things. Come back to play a couple hours later with no updates/patches/changes and game won't start due to this.

Hi,
Got this error on my Win10x64 after the update of patch 3.2.3b. But before that, I updated the Win10 from vers.1703 to 1803. Maybe this has its own impact! Trying to fix (disabled Antivirus/Firewall, disabled Controlled Folder Access that error etc.) this error without success. In the end I realized that both my GPUs drivers were corrupted! Didn't found how/why! https://imgur.com/dYXEyKe https://imgur.com/cSzk6KV Anyway I managed to fix this error reinstalling GPUs drivers, even that the old drivers were the latest! Before the process, I used DDU 17.0.8.6 (http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html) in SAFE MODE, to ensure everything has been cleaned. |
