I like most of the sounds but one thing is a bit disturbing to me - templars cast sounds sound like he is getting hurt...

Yes! I wanted to write about that too, I sometimes think he's being hit when he casts, and with a low life build it's pretyy stressful
hi,

i got the radiant footprints and absolutely love the vfx, but the sfx are starting to get on my nerves!

especially coz even when i'm afk in town i keep hearing PONG PONG PONG PONG PONG unless i remove my boots before alt-tabbing, lol

i donno if it bothers anyone else, but i'd be a lot happier if the audio was removed completely or replaced with something more subtle (and equally importantly, turns off when you're standing still).

thanks for reading!!

I think Firestorm can use some better sound when the fire is falling down from the air. Also standard Fireball sound is not the best maybe some future improvements?

We should petition to get rid of the whimpering man in the act 3 town. I am surprised I haven't seen more complaints about this since adding the option to get rid of ambient sounds. Its very annoying when trying to figure out your item choices at your stash or when selling items.
Hi! Just wanted to say that Vaal Oversoul music is my favourite and I would like to hear similar electronish music in more areas. Thanks!

Edit: forgot to report: Oak doesn't have voiced introduction.

Hello there, I've been having some strange audio issue when I put on Blood Rage, something to do with the sound effect. I have to put on Vitality to maintain my ES, but every time I put on Blood Rage, it makes this weird shuttering sound, because my ES is going up and down by 1 really quickly. Anyone else been having this problem? I noticed its a sound effect because I turned down the sound effect bar and it goes away. If anyone else has had this issue with blood rage, please post.
Almost 01 year playing with no sound. The Creative soundcards problem still wasnt fixed. Using an on-board Creative X-FI soundcard on-board on gygabite Killer guerrilla motherboard.
I still get footsteps popping and sometimes its really not nice as I have a semi-pro sound rig, so big speakers and loud pops. I use a firewire Focusrite Pro24 external soundcard run it at 24bit 48kHz. Is the game ok with that?

Also, just wanna pass along my kudos about the sound , fantastic stuff. The sound FX and music are well suited and in general are awesome. Voice acting is impressive and I love that you get different accents in there. Im sick of American accents right now, sorry to all you 'mericans! out there :) mind you, the Scottish Templar accent just sounds like a badly done Billy Connoly haha! (Im Scottish btw) Still, love it!

Hey mate,

I'm surprised you picked up on that! must be the decent sound system :)

It's actually a problem we have had for months, it's a weird issue related to quiet, short sounds.

The good news is that it's on some ones list to fix, the bad news is that it's a low priority problem and likely will not be corrected for a while!

Glad your enjoying the sound in path of exile, we have some great audio tech planned that is only going to improve it :)

Yar I make music and do sound design so thats why my system is good.

If its on the list that makes me happy, I understand its not a big priority as most people wont have this problem or even notice. When I have buddies round with a lappy they dont get this so...

I will do a bit of testing and see if the problem happens less at different buffer sizes or bit and sample rates but I suspect it wont make a difference.

Thanks for the feedback on my feedback ;)
